3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Really overcarbonated bottle, it’s been in the fridge undisturbed for a week and frothed out everywhere on opening. Now my kitchen table smells like pineapple. Big amarillo aroma, something not quite right in flavour. A little inky newspaper in the finish. Another aussie APA that you’d only want one or two of; unbalanced and overly sweet.

Bottle. This is a really good ’go-to’ beer when I need something with flavour but I’m not looking for something new. Worth trying!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
330ml bottle. Poured a clear, effervescent golden amber with a small white to off-white head of strong retention leaving a heavy lace. Bright and fresh aromas of grapefruit, peach, tangerine and mango. Biscuity pale malts in the mid palate complement a marmalade and pithy citrus bitterness leading into the finish. Light to medium body, medium carbonation and soft intensity bittersweet malt/hop finish. An attractively crisp and refreshingly balanced session style pale ale.

3.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Smells great but the flavour is a little boring. After the first smell I was expecting more. Not bad though.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from cellar door (October 2013). Dark gold/amber, loose white head, lots of caramel, passionfruit, some citrus in aroma, flavour is more of the same, melon, grassy hops, medium bitterness, full body, very good.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Definitely more tropical fruit than lower citrus. Ping of caramel in the malt. Almost bubbly in the nose but not carbonated by any means. Bit of golden ale early but very fruit salad in mouth. Sugary midway through leading into tasty finish.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at Mrs Parmas. Had this a while back, was a pretty nice fruit driven pale. Had passionfruit and caramel malt on the nose. Taste was more fruit driven and went down pretty well. Bitterness in offensive. Solid Pale

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle - pours deep gold with small white head, some lacing. Lots of stone fruit with an earthy nettle tone. Taste is a bit thin up front, then the hops hit and fruity dry finish. Mouthfeel is a bit thin.

Even though this beauty is an ale (and an elegant one at that) it reminds me quite a bit of Victory Prima Pils (USA) in its robust mouthfeel and crisp palate. It’s citrus and cut grass on the nose, cloudy on the pour and (in my bottle at least) forms a carbonated cone all the way to the bottom of the glass. It’s perfectly balanced and one of the best beers I’ve had over the past year. Good job guys!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy amber, lots of fruity hop - amarillo simcoe stuff - and a fairly lean pale malt balance. Light bitterness but a refreshing, well-balanced pale.
