3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Linc (736) - Sydney, - MAY 25, 2007
These guys are starting to get a bit of consistency. Slightly aged bottle, with buttery malt and a little paper, but a decent grapefruit presence and a crisp dry finish. OK, balanced beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 beardfear (87) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - NOV 20, 2011
Pale brown pour with a healthy cloud of sediment. Hoppy aroma profile with both local and Pacific Northwest characters that don’t overpower each other: passionfruit, citrus, mango, and a pineyness that seems to cut through as it warms. Light toasty malt beneath, but this is a hop show. Bitterness is medium; a touch less than its Little Creatures/Sierra Nevada brethren. Well attenuated and nicely carbonated. A contender for the best pale ale in the country. Very nice!
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 allanbowers (47) - melbourne, AUSTRALIA - SEP 20, 2011
This pours with almost no head at all. It is a caramel colour and has hints of caramel in the taste. This is not too hoppy for a pale ale however it has a bitter after taste.
3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Maris (544) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - JUL 12, 2011
From a 330ml bottle on 12/7/2011. Pours a slightly cloudy golden, with a big head. Has a nice fruity aroma (esp passionfruit) with some yeast and bubblegum notes. Flavour wise, it’s a little less involving - just a bit of fairly non-descript fruity sweetness, followed by a quite decent hop kick. Not a bad drop.

Tap. This is a great APA. Aromas of grass, and grain. Flavour is long-lasting, and predominantly bitter. Velvety in the palate, and medium-bodied. Amber colour, with a creamy long-lasting head.
