Draught (as ’Bridge Rd Robust Porter’). Found it a bit thin. The malt had predominantly grainy burnt characters. Meh...

0.33l bottle @ Henrik. The first bottle gushed down the cashier and all the rest of the guest in the bar, so I got a new one. Yeah. I guess you can call it black in the glass and it has a medium sized brown head. Really nice chocolate and roasted flavors. I get a sweetness here, hints of both vanilla and definitely cocoa powder! Smells quite good. The carbonation level is somewhat high - a bit to high imo and the mouthfeel is soft oily. Nice chocolate and roasted flavors. It tastes pretty much the same as it smells this. Some cocoa powder, a dryness but it’s not directly dry. The hoppiness shines nicely trough before it ends like a good chocolate ice cream ends. I enjoyed this, and again my girlfriend really liked it! 16.03.2013

Jado (249) - Camp Hill, AUSTRALIA - MAY 11, 2013
Pours a deep brown with some lighter brown highlights and a thin tan head. Aromas of black coffee, mild chocolate, stewed fruits and a little smoke. The taste is a bit more subdued than the nose would suggest, with the fruit taking a more prominent role and the coffee and chocolate fading into the background. Finishes quite cleanly, with a light malty aftertaste. Smooth and accessible.

330 ml bottle, will soon be available at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.2%. Black colour, huge tan head. Moderate aroma of mild coffee, chocolate, wet dog and sourish malts. The flavour has also sourish malts with mild coffee, also notes of wood and chocolate. Very thick, pleasant porter. Creamy, black as chaos, with a formidable stony off-white head. Flavours are concentrating on the chocolates, coffee and roasted malts. Lacks fruits and complexity. Delicious mouthfeel.

Bottle @ Henrik, Bergen. Slight gusher. When it subsides, the light beige head has a formidable size, covering a black body. Nose is nutty chocolate and coffee tones, with hints of nougat in the back. Taste is roasty chocolate and coffee notes, with hints of leather and wood. Full creamy body, medium carbonation. Pretty nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at Crowbar, january 8th 2013. Black body, big light brown head. Somewhat thin body for a porter in my opinion, but not too thin. Decent carbonation level. Aroma is plenty of coffee, some chocolate and vanilla. Subtle hops. Taste is roasty, again plenty of coffee, caramel, wood and dusty hops. Nice dry finish, roasty aftertaste. A solid porter that does not stand out in any direction.
