COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bridge Road Brewers have created their own take on a more traditional beer style - India Pale Ale, originally a heavily hopped beer developed for the long haul from England to India by boat. Fresh hops were added to the barrel and the alcohol was bolstered to ensure the beer went the distance on the high seas. Bling, is a huge beer, with all the bells and whistles. This ale is armed to the teeth with hops and studded with 24 carrot modified malts. At Bridge Road we’ve gone all out to make an IPA that screams hops and malt but still keeps balance in mind. Try matching this beer it with anything spicy or enjoy this malt and hop mouth full on its own. We love it, and hope you can too.

Tap at roundhouse taproom, hong kong. Hazy amber color, white head. Aroma has caramel notes and hops. Sweet malty body with hops. More amber than ipa but ok.

Amber, hazy. Thin head. Very toasty nose. Described as English IPA but smells more like Centennial to me. Taste is grapefruit rind bitterness with toasty, citrusy aromatics.

Bottle. Neck worryingly void of aroma. On pouring there’s a pleasing deep rich mango scent. Comes up between amber and ruby. Plenty of complex malts but it’s balanced off with a punchy hop character that has a nice heady botanical quality if you stop to look for it. Very up front beer with plenty of flavour and plenty to think about as you drink it. Something for everyone here but no-one is going to say this is their favourite.

Hazy golden, very citric and hoppy aroma. Tastes ok, citrus, tropical fruits, very hoppy, medium high bitterness. Not an amazing IPA, but quaffable.

bottle from warners at the bay. lightly hazed golden with a lingering head; tropical fruit salad aroma; some pine resin, weis bars, decent hit of bitterness; still feels like it’s lacking a bit in oomph, though. will have to try the bling bling soon

Bottle from Plonk. Dark amber-copper, thick off-white head, loads of passionfruit, grapefruit, pine, something sweet (maybe peach), caramel malt, resiney/piney bitterness, medium body, quite bitter finish. Very good.

Bottle. Fresh and fruity enough, with bold passionfruit and peach. Medium to high carbonation, but a little on the thin side. Decent sessional IPA.

Comes in a triple pack of 330ml bottles and a Spiegelau IPA glass. Looks great with a hazy copper-amber body and a large foamy off-white head that displays great retention and lace. Aroma is robust biscuity caramel malts with plenty of balancing citrus and pine resinous hops and this is transferred to the palate which is medium bodied and lively. Finish is resinous and bitter but not overpowering. Balanced and very enjoyable.

330 ml bottle into glass. Robust hop nose, a little malt as well. Copper beer with solid two finger white head. A few bubbles ascending. Bitter chalky mouthfeel. Even more bitter finish. Leaves a beautiful floral hop aftertaste. Very nice.
