Our single hop IPA highlights the character of a locally grown hop variety, Galaxy.

We have added generous amounts of whole hop flowers to this brew, both in the kettle and the conditioning tank. Galaxy, it’s out of this world!

M_Sack (403) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - AUG 6, 2013
Hazy golden colour with frothy head after slightly exploding out of bottle. Immediate aroma of pine and grapefruit and perhaps a slight hint of malt. Pine and grapefruit flavours which lead into a bone dry and bitter mid palate, ending with a very subtle malt back note. Pleasant mouthfeel but a rather hollow flavour profile most probably due to only one hop variety being used. The least enjoyable of the single hop beers but an important part of a very interesting experience.

330ml bottle. Orange amber colour, foam off-white head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of malt, tropical fruits, with floral & slight yeasty notes. Taste is malt caramel, tangy grapefruit citrus and a lingering resin hop bitterness. Slightly oily mouthfeel, light to medium body, medium carbonation and a dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable IPA.

Bottle at Crowbar, april 30th 2013. Hazy yellow, big offwhite head. Peach and grapefruit aroma, light piney. Taste also mostly peach and grapefruit, with barely noticable malt sweetness and oranges, easy drinkability making it extremely refreshing, with a med to high bitterness. Lasting hoppy aftertaste.
