A nice golden colour to it, the head settles fast. struggle for the aroma even in a tulip. watery bitterness a hint of biscuits a touch of sweetness, overall it would go down in the sweltering heat as it doesn’t have much body to it. dissapointing

Purchased as part of bridge roads 24 beers till christmas Bottle. pours a golden colour with low carbonation. Aroma. immediatley i can smell passionfruit with backings of pineapple and other tropical flavours. Taste. soda water on entry, followed by slight tropical flavours, a bit of a letdown considering it was so good on the nose.

Bottle pour. Bready pleasant malt, some fruity hops, low bitterness, refreshing. Great example of a golden ale - it’s just not a particularly exciting style to me.

Beerfest Asia, Singapore on 28/06/15. 33cl draft. Clear golden pale colour with a thick white creamy head. Medium carbonation. Light grassy aroma, with apricots and citrus. Grainy malt flavour, with a hint of citrus and spice. Lightly hopped, some sweetness on the palate. Easy to drink. Lovely smooth tasting golden ale.

Bottle. Clear gold with a large white head. Gentle aroma of hay, mandarins, grass, orange blossoms, apricots. Pretty dry. Hay, apricots, mandarins. Moderate bitterness. Straightforward quaffer that’s well put together.

Pours golden, slightly hazy color with a medium head. Grassy, a bit banana like aroma with a a grassy hoppy taste. Medium maltiness and good carbonation. Quite refreshing, but a bit too floral / grassy for my taste.

Bottle from cellar door (October 2013). Pale golden/yellow, 1cm white head, grassy hops and toasty malt dominate the aroma, bit of yeast flavour comes through, with subtle fruity/citrus, grainy malt, low bitterness, medium sweetness, medium body, quite good summer session beer.

This has a bit of a bitterness bite. Startles early but closes very fruity. A lit of citrus. But the hops come through. Almost a bit of orange cordial in there, too. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
