3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 M_Sack (20) - - APR 25, 2013
Great hop aromas with immediate highly hopped bitterness then a slight and pleasant sweetness indicating a large amount of malt to offset the hops. The palate fades quite quickly though into a relatively hollow end considering the large amount of hops. Nice flavours though and very interesting tasting the single hop although perhaps a reason for the short finish

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Vanz (17) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - APR 19, 2013
Aroma: Fruity, floral and hoppy, citrus hints.
Appearance: Lovely dark golden colour with a large frothy white head, cloudy.
Taste: First flavour of bitter fruits and hops, finishes with a flightly warmer and sweeter flavour, hints of pine.
Palate: Softer than average carbonation, a slightly soapy feel in the mouth but drinks very easy.
Overall: Overall an interesting IPA, different to what you would expect, with a strong bitter single hop flavour that tastes of fruit and pine. Very drinkable.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 jmgreenuk (1264) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - MAR 17, 2013
Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a cloudy deep amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is grassy and floral. The flavour is medium bitter, with lots of watered down grass and a nice smooth finish. There is less bitterness and spice in this beer when compared to the more mainstream IPA’s, so it needs to be served cold. It’s quite drinkable and like no other IPA I’ve ever tasted!
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Jado (248) - Camp Hill, AUSTRALIA - FEB 12, 2013
Pours a darkish amber-brown with a small white head and good sparkle. Lots going on in the nose - grapefruit, lemon, tropical fruits (passionfruit, kiwi, fresh mango) and a little lime. The hops are up front when you take a sip, full of piney bitterness at the front end, giving way to softer fruity flavours on the back palate. A crisp clean finish, with an enjoyable apple juice aftertaste. A very nice example of how to make the most from a single hop variety.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 norkle (3) - - JAN 27, 2013 does not count
Color is a clear Amber gold, with a fine white long-lasting head. Aroma has an attractive sweetness, my best description is ’green’. Flavor has a bitterness that provides a fine contrast to the sweet aroma. Bitterness lasts on the palate, providing a good accompaniment to strongly flavored foods, perhaps Indian curry or Asian.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 tkrjukoff (3359) - SWEDEN - DEC 18, 2011
Bottle 33 cl, Slowbeer. Pours cloudy copper amber with a decent off white head leaving lacing. Aroma is hoppy, citric, fruity, mango, malty, piny and grapefruit. Flavor is bitter, piny, resiny, greapefruit, dry, malty and has some sweetness towards the end. Finishes longlived bitter and dry.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 mkel07 (2340) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - DEC 15, 2011
330ml bottle. There is a fairly big fluffy head in the initial pour with soem lacing left as it settles. Golden amber in colour with some haziness. Looks inviting in the glass and the big punchy citrus hop aromas as to the anticipation and expectation. Passionfruit and peach also play a role in the fruitiness of the aroma. Zippy and zesty in the mouth with that dry mouth puckering flavour that a good IPA has. Probably one of the best beers that I have had from Bridge Road, stella in every way.
