3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Very spicy hoppy IPA without a good amount of thought put into the hop selection. Very grassy hop heavy and lacking the good fruit punch of a good American ipa

Pours hazy golden orange with a nice off white head. Nose has herbacious hops that bring masses of citrus and tropical fruit. Iíd say nelson sauvin or galaxy varieties. Palate translates well. A heap of tropical fruit: mango, passionfruit. A touch of dry grainy aussie malt pops up, but is very feint. Certainly not enough to offend, almost a little bit biscuity. Finishes with green grassy hops and medium bitterness. Really good! Practically oozes fresh hops.

The brewers have demonstrated in a beer exactly what it feels like to pick hops in the field

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
UPDATED: AUG 20, 2012 Thereís a lot of sweet citrus on the nose, followed by very earthy notes (almost like a stale bag of chips) and then a lot of resin at the finish. All up, the aroma itís a bit unpleasant for my taste. In the mouth thereís some orange flavour with a fairly restrained hop presence and more of that yeasty earthiness. Thereís little of the hoppy bitterness youíd expect from a beer that bills itself as being hopped to the hilt, and it finishes a little short.
20 August 2012 - Had another bottle of this, not realising Iíd had it before. I didnít notice so much earthiness this time, and certainly no stale bag of chips, so I wonder if I got a bad bottle last time. Thatís not to say I donít get any yeast - certainly itís still there. Other than that, the flavours were the same as last time. Still a little thin and short on the palate.

A beautiful pale copper/gold colour with a bright white, fluffy head. Not much lacing. Smells really unique - fruity and sour; grapefruit, passion fruit and limes. Drinks well - really smooth but not.partocularly flavorsome. Interesting hop profile - slight pine and lemon taste, a little underdone for mine. Not as dense as Iíd like, but smooth and coats well. Good carbonation.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice and lively beer, with a great nose. Light cloudy yellow, with a nice off white head. Palate is a bit thin, with a slightly funny yeast character... But immensely quaffable, and a good session beer.. although not at the price...

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Green is the best word for this beer. Smells like fresh hops as soond you crack it. Mild pine, less citrus but a hint. Pours clear amber with foamy white head. Taste is almost all hops but in a balanced and complex way without riding roughshod over oneís palate. Finishes relatively quickly given the bitterness, but fresh.

A citrus smelling beer with a lemon/lime feeling about it. Looks fine and had a good head. Really enjoyed and is a great summer session beer.
