COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The harvest has been hopped to the hilt using fresh hop cones straight from the nearby Rostrevor hop garden. The variety of hop is unique to the gardens research block. The variety was selected for "The harvest" due to its big orange and citrus aromas, with the fresh hop being added to the kettle as well as the conditioning tank. As for how the hop character translate into the beer, well open it and find out.

Tap. Delicious. Aromas of citrus, and pine. Taste starts sweet, with some sourness, and a long bitter finish. Palate is velvety, with a light-to-medium body. Cloudy yellow, with a frothy white head.

Pours amber with a large head. Nose shows ridiculously fresh hops... like that green, just picked flowers and fresh mown grass smell. Lots of resin, very sweet, very spicy. Amazing. Plenty of cookie dough malt to back it up as well. Loads more cookie dough as a flavour, along with a fair bit of bready malt before transitioning to a hint of grainy-ness. some nutty notes in there as well, pecans or something. Lively carbonation is a bit excessive, but the body is quite smooth.

UPDATED: JUL 5, 2011 Very surprised by this one’s rating. Aroma is fantastic. Lots of tropical fruits. Lychee, passionfruit, citrus. Less fruits in the flavour but still a little bit there, hops play a small role. Light pale malts back the beer. Much better than some are letting on to be

An unusual find on tap in Amsterdam , but well worth it. Was nice and hazy with minimal head and had a heavy grapefruit flavour with a dry, bitter aftertaste.

UPDATED: FEB 7, 2013 Tap @ Beer Temple 08/09/12 Pours a hazy yellow with a large, white head. Aroma is kiwifruit, loads of exotic fruit. Taste is lots of kiwifruit, passion fruit, grapefruit, light dry maltiness on the finish. Aftertaste is the exotic fruit line-up again. Palate is light.

I was beginning to wonder when Bridge Rd would really really nail one and they have with this. Lovely citrus hop aroma leads in to a nice mix of tropical fruits - passionfruit and mango predominantly. Balance is good and there is a nice balanced bittering finish. Very reminiscent of the Knappstein Lager which is not a bad thing at all!!

On tap @ Beer Temple. Pale blonde color, hazy. Large white rocky head. Aroma’s boast out of the glass: citrus, resin, herbal hops, very refreshing, acidic almost, with something funky retronasal (smoke? wood?). Flavor is very mild in comparison, grainy, lightly bitter. Body is thin. Medium bitter finish, more aroma than bitter from the hops. Slightly dry. Interesting, but a big difference between aroma & flavor.

On tap at Beer Temple. Hazy yellow colour, white head. Aroma of citrus, oranges, flowers, nice and fresh. Flavour is medium sweet, lemon and mostly sweet oranges, citrus bitter finish. Light bodied, prickly carbonation. Nice refreshing stuff, tasted like a fruit beer.
