Tilley4 (218), Huron, Tennessee, USA Feb 26, 2008 This is one of the better browns that I’ve had.
Pretty dark for a brown, nice fluffy head.
Pleasant caramel malt aroma, rather sweet smelling..
Sweet, bready, malty taste that is nice and smooth.
Not a big fan of the style but this is a good one. Aubrey (2614), Denver, Colorado, USA May 4, 2008 Deep amber with a soft head that lasts. Nutty-sweet nose. Sugary malts, with notes of nuts, toast and light brown sugar. Zingy hops with decent bitterness to boot. Pinch of vanilla in the background. Very nice brown ale. Enniskillen (1591), Port Angeles, Washington, USA May 9, 2008 Brown with a thin off white head. Aroma is caramel with a light nuttiness, fruit, malt. Taste is caramel, malt, smoke, brown sugar, vanilla extract. brewblackhole (1241), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA May 6, 2007 Toasted malt aroma, with hints of buttery caramel, taste is light toasted malt with a kiss of caramel sweetness, and a touch of hop bitterness fade. Though very light, its almost flawless ,a fine brown ale, a pitcher of this would be sweet while watching the Milwaukee Brewers beat down another team
