3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draught at the Bridgeport Brewery.
Lovely fine, long-lasting head. Smooth, creamy mouth. Woody flavor with coffee. Rather dull and bland. Slightly sweet, and a bit tart as well. Flavor canít keep up with appearance.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Weak soy sauce and prune aroma. Black with a medium tan head. Dry and slightly tart. Flavors of charcoal and cream sherry. Sweet-tart plum finish. Thereís no mistaking the style and itís very drinkable, but there isnít much else happening. A modest upgrade from Guinness, but that might be debatable too. It does have its own character, though.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
bottle. a really nice stout from BridgePort... it pours a light black, but settles darker, with a quarter inch tan head... which lasts throughout... really nice appearance. some coffee and roasted malt aromas... very smooth medium body that almost melts in your mouth... some slight chocolate notes come around and some big roasted malts. nice semi-sweet finish that leaves a really nice aftertaste. solid.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Had last night in bottle at Bulldog. Rating from memory and what I distinctly remember is lots of liquorice, salty, molasses and dark chocolate. It was very much like an English stout, but hopped up. It was kinda weird. At first I liked it, but then I decided I didnít care for it that much after all. Something different, but wonít try again.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Black pour, no head, no lacing. Sweet, syrupy aroma. Smoky and sweet. Some licorice and caramel. Light toffee notes, with sickly sweet raisin and date undertones. Fizzy mouthfeel, tad watery. A little sweet and artificial, better than most crap.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Black pour with a not to style fizzy head. Very cocoa and coffee aroma. Bitter up front with a nitro metallic finish. Decent stout but could have used more girth.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a dark brown color with a tan head. Pretty sweet aroma for a stout with some roasted malts, chocolate, and coffee. Flavor matched the aroma pretty well. A little too sweet for me from the molasses and dark frutis.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
bottle at old chicago Poured a nearly opaque brownish black in color with a minimal tan head. Aroma is strong: roasted malt with a touch of coffee and alcohol. Flavor is interesting with a slightly dry and bitter front end fading into a bittersweet chocolate. A bit thin on the palate, but a very good beer nonetheless.
