| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Jun 27, 2004 Pours a medium copper color, small head that lasts only a minute. Very faint slightly sweet and hoppy aroma, and a fresh crisp taste up front A bit of a toasted roasted trailer and very nice and smooth mouth feel. Easy on the hops, like I like it. Finish is clean and soft. No unpleasant aftertaste. Tasty, refreshing, somewhat local, afordable brewskie. Very nice duff (5475), Surrey, Greater London, England

I’m new to the micro brew type beers and I’ve been missing out on a lot of high quality beer. Blue Heron is superb. Lots of flavor, fresh, crisp, clean and flowery with a beautiful color. To think this stuff is brewed right across the river from me and I never knew. I definitely must try this on tap. I recommend this beer it’s very good. frylock (1030), Buffalo, New York, USA
