3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
It has a thin head with no lacing and a hazy, copper colored body.
The aroma is only the faint smell of hay. A bit of a disappointment.
It tastes like yeast, a barnyard, grain and with a mild bitterness.
Low carbonation and medium body.
A fair enough beer but lacking in the appearance and smell areas.

Does not do what it says on the bottle. Weak aroma, very malty with a hint of hops. "...winter warmer..." Iím afraid not, the flavor is way to mild and weak for a winter ale, might be ok as a summer ale but leave it on the self during the holidays. It does have a nice label though.

Winter warmer. Hop forward - not a ton of sweetness but malty, toasty and nice alcohol warmth

4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Great beer. Has a slightly fruity flavor but not overwhelming. Smooth and a little heavy but not to much. A great combo for a seasonal beer.

3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cloudy amber, nice head, very thick lacing.Lasting creamy head. Pretty carbed.
Aroma of mild chocolate-caramel-mineral.Just mildly of an amber or brown.
Taste is about the same, kind of light-medium body But fullish and creamy at first- just finishes up more light bodied..Mild malt, mild carmel malts, mild hop, somewhat pleasant finish pretty mild but with carmalized tones. Not bad.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Brownish-red and hazy, good one finger head and fairly good lacing.
Spicy and hoppier than Iíd expect from a winter warmer, a bit earthy with a touch of solvent like notes.
Spicy again on the taste, caramel malts, floral and earthy hops, a tinge of alcohol.
Body is pretty full and mildly bitter on the finish, with some residual caramel malt flavor.
Overall itís a decent winter warmer. Not my favorite, but good enough for inclusion in a mixed twelvesky.
