COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A true Winter Warmer made in homage of the season: Full-bodied and rich, deep amber in color, crowned with a creamy head, and finished with a mild bitter flush.

Just look at the commerical description for this one, it is right on. Great laceing in the glass also. One of the best I’ve had lately.

spicey and doughy in the nose, some caramel and fruit; mild, sweet, burnt caramel flavor, a hint of nutmeg; smooth and creamy palate, nicely balancing bitter finish.

PullMeABeer (203) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - JAN 12, 2005
Bottled. I poured this beer very aggressively into my glass and the most perfect dense white head formed on top of the dark ruby/amber body. A few minutes later when returning to the beer, from washing out the bottle the most perfect head was gone but a thin layer of lace. Oh Well. The beer would turn out to be just as exciting. This beer was well above my expectations. There was a tangy tea quality that made this beer exceptionally drinkable. Malty, dried fruity, and earthy overtones rounded out this beer to make it excellent choice for a cold night.

turbo (1271) - Arizona, USA - JAN 8, 2005
Bottle poured dark amber with a heavy foamy head and stringy lacing. Aroma is a bit weak of hopps and very light malts. Flavor is tangy and just a bit bitter, a slight roasty flavor is also hidden in there. Very good easy drinking beer.

Pours a beautiful dark ruby red with a perfect full creamy head. Aroma is somewhat weak. Sour malt and a slight bitterness. Mashed together flavors, some malt flavors, a bit earthy. Some sharpness but mostly mild in flavor and feel.

Beige head over a mahogany body. Nose is a tad sweet, caramel, some vanilla. Hops. Medium bodied, lightly carbonated. Flavor was pleasant but not exceptional. A nice drink.

irishsnake (355) - Oakland, California, USA - DEC 15, 2004
pours a very pretty ruby/amber, with a dense tan head. aroma is richly malty, with roast and caramel notes, and a nice wif of piney hops on top. flavor is juicy-a nice full malty/toffee flavor with enough bitterness to balance. very nice mouthfeel and consequent drinkability. so far, one of the best domestic x-mas beers.

5000 (6299) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - DEC 13, 2004
Bottle pours dark cherry, light brown hues, medium sized of-white foamy head, fairly nice lacing, with light carbonation.   Aroma of evergreen trees and slightly burnt spices.   Malty up front, slight sweetness in the background, with a biscuity punch.   Body and mouthfeel are fairly tame.   Finishes rather quick, bland, with only notes of unsweetened cherries and biscuity malts.   Boring...
