A true Winter Warmer made in homage of the season: Full-bodied and rich, deep amber in color, crowned with a creamy head, and finished with a mild bitter flush.

nice little whitman sampler chocolate cherry soda here, a nice warming tumbler colored like burnt cedar red and beaver-tooth yellow. the head is a tortilla thin plain beige, but a beige way more charming than the conservative tan blah of houses in the american suburbs. nose suggests a cherry coke poured into cup of coffee with a twist of orange, plus fruit cake gelled citrus, hard candies, a bit of cinnamon roll. sweet, with dark ginger and raisin cake malts, a lively spritz of carbonation, given to softening with a little patience. the bitterness insists on not being overlooked, it has citrus oils seemingly giving it uumph. medium and pleasant, ol’ ebenezer scrouge likely lightened up a bit after a couple pints of this-- i know i did.

Decent ale, nose smelled strongly of celery salt. Good balance of malt and bitterness with a nice warming effect.

Just look at the commerical deScription for this one, it is right on. Great laceing in the glass also. One of the best I’ve had lately.

Bottled. I poured this beer very aggressively into my glass and the most perfect dense white head formed on top of the dark ruby/amber body. A few minutes later when returning to the beer, from washing out the bottle the most perfect head was gone but a thin layer of lace. Oh Well. The beer would turn out to be just as exciting. This beer was well above my expectations. There was a tangy tea quality that made this beer exceptionally drinkable. Malty, dried fruity, and earthy overtones rounded out this beer to make it excellent choice for a cold night.

Bottle poured dark amber with a heavy foamy head and stringy lacing. Aroma is a bit weak of hopps and very light malts. Flavor is tangy and just a bit bitter, a slight roasty flavor is also hidden in there. Very good easy drinking beer.

Pours a beautiful dark ruby red with a perfect full creamy head. Aroma is somewhat weak. Sour malt and a slight bitterness. Mashed together flavors, some malt flavors, a bit earthy. Some sharpness but mostly mild in flavor and feel.

Pours a brownish red with ruby hints along the edges and a nice two-finger sized head. Aroma is plums, grapes. spices and alcohol. Taste is roasted malt, yeast, green apple and spices. Smooth and medium bodied.
