Started off ok, but second impression was not good. There just isn’t much of interest happening with this beer. It is predominately malt flavor, with only the slightest complexities. Not worth coming back to. So far this brewer is not impressing me.

On tap at O’Riley & Conway, pours a clear dark amber with pretty much no head, the aroma is sweet with a little bit of malt and just a hint of dark fruit, the flavor is pretty much like the aroma, sweet with not a lot going on, a little bit of malt in the finish, boring.

Dark bown with a slight haze to the beer. Nutty with a strong Caramel flavor. Liiked the light hops but seemed to be lacking a winter flavor that you look for in this type of beer. Did not get that overall good warm beer flavor that these should and will give off. Better luck next time Bridgeport.

Meh......another attempt to make a "winter" beer...another failure. I really think that making a beer that has a bunch of malt aroma/flavor should not automatically qualify as a winter beer.

Pretty good this year. Amber and opaque. Nice legs. A little bready flavor but the malt and caramel mix well with it which some don’t like but I love. Bitterness is almost perfect. Good winter warmer.

A nice attempt at a winter ale, but had a poor musky aftertaste that was unsettling for me.

A sweet malt darkness accompanied by a earthy hoppiness and holiday spice. Deep mahogany body moderately carbonated, and a tan off-white thick head.

Bronze and clear with thick head. Too much head in fact. This bottle conditioned ale was way over carbonated. Like cheap champagne or soda pop. After the first one I poured a new one and stirred it to get the carbonation out so I could taste it.
Toasted grain, heavily hopped with a citrus flavor that lingers, almost tart after-taste. Not unpleasant.

Very dark amber wit ha small beige head. Aroma and flavor of malt and dark spices, maybe pepper and cinnamon. Nice alcohol warmth, but not a remarkable beer really. Tasty, but milder than expected.

Aromas of apple cider, apricot, banana mild herbal spruce note, hint of piney hops. Carmel bready malts.
Flavor is medium roasted malt, black bread, molasses. Along with apricot, dark fruits (cherry, plum) Ample hops, but not something that stands out as much of highlight.
Easygoing palate, overcarbed,
