COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Abounds with Imported English Goldings hops at a weight of one pound per barrel. It has the assertiveness, aroma and unbanished flavor beer used to have before the cost-cutters started.

Pours dark golden with orangish tints with a thin, mostly receding light beige head. Aroma of musky alefruits, citrus, and piney hops. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and slightly resinous.

On tap at Bridgeport, Portland. Amber colour with lasting off white head. Perfumed aroma. Slightly spicey. Bit empty on the malt. Some toffee, bit like an ESB, but not really. OK

Pours an orangey copper with a 1/4 inch creamy ivory head. Persistent sheeting lace. Nice pale malt with sweet herbal hops. Taste is much the same. Sweetish pale malt, sweet herbal hops. Strident bitterness in the finish but nicely balanced with the malt. Nothing overcomplicated here, just well crafted and tasty ESB.

Medium amber in color. Quickly dissipating head with a slightly beige color. Substantial lemon/citrus and pine aroma to it with some telltale hoppiness. Pleasing roasted malt flavors with some tasty hoppiness that keeps going through a lingering finish. Decent carbonation. This was my first Bridgeport and it will not be my last one. Kudos to a solid brew with a very good Quality : Price ratio!

Balanced spruce hops and malt with a maple notes. Lots of character to this brew. Creamy mouthfeel but not too heavy. One of the better ESB’s I’ve had.

Red copper in color. Very well balanced with a pleasant amount of hops in the finish. This beer reminds me of what Portland tastes like!

CLoudy and sparsely carbonated. Piney, floral aromas that remind of honeysuckle. Fruity taste with a prolonged mouth coating bitter finish. Good american ESB.

A great ESB from Bridgeport. They have the West Coast Hops thing down. A great hoppy ESB with a smooth and lasting finish.
