Pours an amber color with a quick white head. Smells citrusy and spicy. Flat, thin taste. Watery with a tart, bitter finish. not one i will try again.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 theshocker (329) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - NOV 27, 2005
Pours amber and crystal clear. White head that fades quickly. Looks delicious. Spicey aroma, but I think they "cheated" and used some American hops as I note a bit of citrus in nose and flavor. Low carbonation, feels heavy in the mouth. Generous portion of Goldings gives a spicey, slightly earthy flavor. Plenty of malt backbone to balance it out. Flavor fades quickly. I’ll probably get this again when I’m in an ESB mood.

Medium amber and orange body with a white head. The aroma was caramel with some iced yea and apples. The taste was also iced tea with earthy apple cores and some almonds. The mouthfeel is crisp. Nothing exciting here and not a stand out as an ESB.
4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 flatkitty (10) - Norman, Oklahoma, USA - NOV 21, 2005
A wonderful ESB. Second maybe only to Fullers, out of London. Never would have guessed this beer came out of America, but a very pleasent surprise. If you like bitters, you’ll love this one, and I think it will grow tremendously in the next few years. May rival Boulevard in Kansas City as largest Micro-Brewery in the country soon. Give this one a try.

amber color with limited time only white lacy head. very grainy. yeasty flavors, some carmel and some floral notes. not a huge fan of the style but this was aight. moderately bitter and a bit heavy on the carbonation.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 wunderbier (1434) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 27, 2005
Medium amber-orange hue with a medium, creamy/frothy off-white head that’s short lived. Caramel, grainy, doughy yeast. Citric/floral hops. Fairly neutral flavor. Moderately sweet flavor. Lightly sweet, moderately bitter finish. Medium body, watery texture, moderate carbonation. Third out of three Bridgeports that I’ve found to be a bit grainy.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Shag (2229) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - OCT 23, 2005
A nice simple beer. A dark orange appearance with a caramel and peach aroma. A slightly bitter yet malty taste with more caramel and peaches in the flavor. Nothing impressive but ok for a session ale.
