I’m not a big fan of the actual Brew Pub itself but this is a tasty ESB, rich reddish color, sweet tasting, not too dry. A good beer to enjoy on a beautiful day.

To really enjoy this beer, like all Bridgeport brews, you must have it at the brewery. The cask version is a special treat, I taste the fruitness of the hops and love the finish. This is a really good beer.

A very sweet, almost medicinal flavor in my cup. Very creamy and rich--I like the appropriate use of hops. A good example.

Nice ESB. Quite bitter for the style. Some roasted flavors. Get this on cask if you can.

Hop bitterness evident, especially in the aftertaste. Great tasting beer.

UPDATED: JAN 20, 2007 Very great tasting beer. Has a super clean aroma that is unbelievable. Decent hop profile and great malt profile. I let this age for a year and it lost a lot of carb. and mellowed just the way I hopes it would. When I first tried it a year ago, it was bursting with carbonation.

Got to love this bad boy, big nose and a nice bite. Strong and hearty, the way all beers should be.
