This was a quite passive ESB. Malty for the style with minimal hops. Not as lively as other ESBs. Solid for what it is

Bottle. Poured a dark amber color with a two finger white head. Aroma was malts and some sweet hops. Flavor was kind of citrus with floral hops. Some bitters in the aftertaste. Very well balanced. Great beer.

Reddish/orange pour. Plenty of live yeast present. Aroma is more malty than anything. Taste is not bad. Much better than Fullers or other established ESB’s. Malty flavor, little on the finish.

This ESB is smoother than it is bitter. A little sweet with malty notes. Much better bitters out there.

Orangish copper color with a small white head. Slightly hoppy and fruity smell with a little caramel. Taste is hops and slightly bitter in a nice way.

Some what typical of the ESB style. Pours a very golden clear with a thin white head. Aroma is somewhat fruity and crisp. Flavor is light, with notes of hops and underlying malt. Clean finish with little lingering bitterness. A bit on the low side for an ESB, but a decent beer nonetheless.
