Cable (285), SE, Oklahoma, USA Sep 9, 2005 Sampled from bottle. Wow. What a nice session bitter! This ESB pours clear copper with a thin, but lasting off-white head and scattered lacing. Its aroma is subtle, but nice: hard candy, floral and spice hops and hints of caramel. The flavor is nicely bitter and wonderfully spiced with hops, but the malts are still dominant. Medium-bodied and well-carbonated (but not gassy at all). Bitterness lingers. I could drink this ESB all day.
