Bitter, as i t should be. Full and thick but very soft flavor. Very aromatic. Highly recommended for someone experimenting.

I had this on tap at the brewery in Portland. I wish I would have bought more than a 6-pack to bring home with me, as it is not available anywhere near Detroit.

Pours a cloudy dark amber with a nice head and and leaves beautiful legs. This is a very fine mouthful of beer. It has a full sweet malt middle balanced by the proper amount of hop bite on the end. Mouthfeel can only be described as "silky". This is an absolutely beutiful beer and on of my absolute faves. This is an excellent ESB, unfortunately recently reviewed by several illiterates.

Pours a beautiful copper/ orangish color. About a one and a half finger head, kinda soapy which dissipated rather quickly. Taste up front is very crisp and clean with some slight hops. The back end is very sweet, and mild. Very crisp in the mouth though. All in all a very good session beer and refreshing,.
