blueduk (118), Eugene, Oregon, USA Apr 21, 2007 Pours a clear coppery color with a smallish, creamy, off-white head.
The aroma is undeniably hoppy, but there’s a definite grainy, honeyish malt in the nose as well. Citrusy lemon and perfume from a tropical flower.
The flavor begins with a momentary presentation of sweet caramel, but this is quickly overtaken by a firm bitterness. The beer is clean through the finish with a drying acidity. A good everyday beer from a consistently strong brewery.
