surprised that this was a pale ale when I drank it. was more like a hef to me. Again another beer that I imagine would be great in the summer time but didn’t do anything for me in the cold of winter. They do a lot better with their other beers.

Dec 22, 2008 12oz bottle… at work… on December 22, 2008. Little to no head... what was left was soapy. Murky orange color. Bitter, light pale flavor. Numbing sensation on my tongue. Crisp is right... something in it almost reminds me of a lager.

Dec 21, 2008 Golden color with a touch of orange. Big hop aroma, grass, hay, citrus, grapefruit, light golden malt, maybe some wheat? Flavor: citrus, grass, hay, hops. Light but complex malts, pine. Finish is dry, fruity, with citrus hops and grass. Very light, but wonderfully flavorful and refreshing beer.

Oct 25, 2008 Sampled 10/25/2008. This American Pale Ale pours a medium yellow gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is a touch of malt and grain, some hops and a bit of fruitiness. A medium bodied American Pale Ale. The malts are grainy, fruity and sweet. The hops are mildly grapefruity and piney. Decent balance. It does seem a bit thin tasting and all the flavors are a bit mild. Touch or orange flavors and a bit of carbonation fizziness as well. Not bad, but not great either. Mouthfeel is a touch thin. The finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Oct 25, 2008 For a beer from Bridgeport, really quite good. Very clear flavors, sweet and crisp with definite malty aftertaste.

Oct 7, 2008 Dark gold body with an off white head. The aroma was light orange peels with some bread crust. There was also some iced tea. The taste was orange peels with some light floral quality. There was just a hint of tomatoes in the finsh. Decent for a summer beer.
