330ml bottle. Pours a hazy amber with some fine white head. Nose is quite sweet, with some candied orange, guava, toffee and a hint of booze. Flavour is caramel and plum up front, giving way to grapefruit, some solventy tastes, a white grape component and then lots of grapefruit bitterness on the finish. Slight bit of biscuit on the finish too, which I like. Medium body, low carbonation. Not bad, but it doesn?t hide the alcohol particularly well. However take this with a grain of salt, because it?s traveled around the world.

Kurtos (100) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - DEC 18, 2013
Poured from Bottle, pours a cloudy orange colour. Smells of sweet citrus fruits. like the aroma also tastes of sweet citrus fruits, also some very strong grapefruit bitterness and a nice caramal flavour. Overall. A decent beer, that is delicate and welcoming and at the same time rough and very forward, these attributes are what i expect in an ipa and i would recommend this to others.

Jado (529) - Camp Hill, AUSTRALIA - DEC 18, 2013
From 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear orange-amber with a creamy lasting white head and light carbonation. Aromas are light but tropical fruit and some pine needles are evident. Taste starts out with a big whack of fairly aggressive hop bitterness and pine resin. That gives way to subtler flavours of passion fruit, pineapple and white grapes over a sweetish malt backbone. Not bad.

Bottled: unk A: hazy orange with a finger of whipped cream atop. this falls to a centralized cap and ring sheet. spotty lace. S: cereal, lemon, grapefruit, sweet crystal malts. Not impressive. T: Quite bitter with some biscuity and cake like sweetness. Not getting much more than grapefruit out of the hops. Plain. M: medium bodied with hi carb. Dry finish. O: Meh. I can live without it. Even when I was at the height of my brutally bitter phase, I didnít reach for this twice. Now I know why. Serving type: bottle 12-09-2011

Pours cloudy amber with medium tan head out of bottle. Strong aroma of hops and citrus. Smooth hop flavor but lacking finish. Good beer overall but would like more flavor on the back end. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A good example of balancing malt with strong hop character. Unfortunately not enough flavour present, but a good bitter punch to keep you interested for more. Interesting beer.

On tap at the brewpub. Light amber with a creamy off white head and a thin film throughout. Smooth but potent hop aroma, nice malt presence that compliments the hops, very bitter on the finish which interrupts what is otherwise a delicious and easy to drink potent DIPA - still tasty though.

Pours a deep golden colour with a staying 1/2 inch of head. Strong aroma of sweet stone fruits, oranges and maybe even a little bubblegum? Grassy hops come through in the taste backed up by a fairly sweet malt backbone, lingering grassiness and moderate bitterness. Pretty different for an IIPA, I like it!

really misses the mark if you ask me.very sweet malt all the way threw and not enough hop. maybe Iím just leaning to much to the west coast styles but this is really to "funk" for me
