A: hazy orange with a finger of whipped cream atop. this falls to a centralized cap and ring sheet. spotty lace.
S: cereal, lemon, grapefruit, sweet crystal malts. Not impressive.
T: Quite bitter with some biscuity and cake like sweetness. Not getting much more than grapefruit out of the hops. Plain.
M: medium bodied with hi carb. Dry finish.
O: Meh. I can live without it. Even when I was at the height of my brutally bitter phase, I didnít reach for this twice. Now I know why.

Pours cloudy amber with medium tan head out of bottle. Strong aroma of hops and citrus. Smooth hop flavor but lacking finish. Good beer overall but would like more flavor on the back end.

A good example of balancing malt with strong hop character. Unfortunately not enough flavour present, but a good bitter punch to keep you interested for more. Interesting beer.

On tap at the brewpub. Light amber with a creamy off white head and a thin film throughout. Smooth but potent hop aroma, nice malt presence that compliments the hops, very bitter on the finish which interrupts what is otherwise a delicious and easy to drink potent DIPA - still tasty though.

Pours a deep golden colour with a staying 1/2 inch of head. Strong aroma of sweet stone fruits, oranges and maybe even a little bubblegum? Grassy hops come through in the taste backed up by a fairly sweet malt backbone, lingering grassiness and moderate bitterness. Pretty different for an IIPA, I like it!

~Citrusy orange aroma with resinous pine and grapefruit. Sweet honey maltiness.
~Pours a hazy orange amber color with creamy long lasting off white head.
~Strong resinous piney hop flavor with citrus and earthy notes. Sweet bread maltiness.
~Medium full bodied, medium high CO2, hop astringency, lingering piney resinous hop finish.
~Not a huge IPA fan anymore, but this is quite an enjoyable sipper. Would only want to drink one of these.

Bitterness not immediately up front but occurs during/after the swallow. Malty, resinous hop aroma and full-bodied complex flavor to match. Sweetness really balances this one out and brings the hop to a good level in the mouth. Good brew!
