3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a hazy golden orange with yellow highlights. It has a tight off white head. The aroma is very citrusy and fruity. A lot of orange character in the aroma, very sweet. A malt base that is quickly overpowered by a beautiful blend of citrus and pine hop flavors and bitterness. The finish is dry, very nice DIPA.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draught at the Bridgeport Brewery.
Amber-orange color with lace. Very earthy hop aroma with cut grass, cow shit and marijuana. Flavors of grassy hops, pine, dark fruit, caramel, with a long, earthy, hop and grass finish. Very complex hops and enough malt to make it work well. Wacky but interesting aromas, and a rich, full mouth. The best of the day.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Thanks to Barry. Nose is big and citric, some spruce, orange, grapefruit. Palate is big and sweet, a shade of yeast, well-balanced, not boozy. Very well-made IIPA, but nothing new or brilliant.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle: Pours a flat copper color with a finger of frothy beige head. Lots of sticky lacing. Aroma is sweet with citrus hops and caramel. Nice and rich. Flavor is consistent with a big citrus hop profile, florals, and caramel malts. Lingering sweet and resiny bitters. Very enjoyable.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
From a 22 oz bottle purchased from Market of Choice in Ashland, Oregon this poured a hazy light orange with a good sized off-white head and robust lacing rings. Nose is mild and of citrus hops. Mouthfeel is full and rich. Flavor is in good balance between the caramel hops and citrus hops and there is some pine notes showing here. Finish is long and bitter. This is overall quite mild for a DIPA but is eminently drinkable.

22oz. Bottle: Aroma of hops, grapefruit, earth, slight resin, slight must, light caramel malts, and light tangerine. Poured orange in color with a small, beige head that diminished but lasted around the edges. Cloudy. Slightly sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet and light to medium bitter. Tastes of hops, grapefruit, caramel, pine, tangerine, light malts, flowers, slight earthiness, and slight tropical fruit. Medium body. Oily, lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Light to medium bitter, hoppy, citrus, tangerine, and caramel finish is lightly dry. 8%ABV is very well hidden.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
22oz Bottle pours a cloudy amber/light brown. Huge sandy head with lots of blocky sticky lacing. Hop aroma is decidedly citrus and spicy and very pleasant. A little floral. Malt character is mild and light. Big bitter hop flavor, just barely enough malt back bone to keep up. A bit papery imediate aftertaste...and then the lingering bitter iBUrn.
This late stage bitterness is actually not as pleasant as other DIPAs. The body is moderate but very smooth and almost slick. Carbonation is a bit soft and contributes to this. A skin of "whipped cream" head just doesnt go away.
A decent, "in your face" IPA but a little more late hop flavor would be nice.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber. Cloudy dark amber/orange body. Large frothy, off-white head. Pleasant aroma, if not all that complex, of orange, flowers, toffee and toasted grain. Notes of pine and resin emerge as the beer warms. The flavor is moderately sweet and moderately bitter. It finishes moderately sweet and moderately to heavily bitter. Medium to full body with a creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Solid, fairly well balanced double IPA.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cloudy deep amber with a tight-bubbled head. Medium body. Cozy alcohol. Oranges, toast, toffee, burnt molasses, grass and pine. Cakey, too. Possibly from the yeast. Good stuff.
