Aroma – Huge hops aroma with good malt backing. <br />
Appearance – Light amber in color, Clear with a light head. <br />
Flavor – Strong IPA aroma with a good malt balance. Good grapefruit and earthy flavors. <br />
Palate – Nice Mouthfeel, Good texture with a dry IPA finish. <br />
Overall – A very tasty IPA this was one of the better IPA’s not so over the top that it was too strong.

Dec 29, 2008 Bottle thanks to riversideAK. Pours a amber with decent sized head. Hoppy floral aroma. Flavor is fruity with hops, good bit of caramel that works well with the big hop punch front.

Dec 24, 2008 22oz bottle acquired in trade with riversideAK -thanks!-. Poured a medium and slightly hazy amber color with a large sized off white head. Aromas of floral hops, a little earthy, and citrus. The floral earthiness dominates. Tastes of fruitiness, floral, caramel, and some toastiness. Fruity sweet and a lighter bitter hoppiness. Alcohol content well hidden.

Dec 15, 2008 Updated: Dec 19, 200822oz bottle brought back from Portland, OR. Thick, glowing orange brown color. Nice lasting quarter inch head. Seawater and hop aroma. The taste is full and delicious. Earthy hops and balanced maltiness perfectly balance themselves. Some hop syrup tastes, with a subdued dry, sandy mouthfeel. This is a World Class IIPA.

Silver Foil
Pours a nice cloudy golden orange color, nice carbonation, nice little creamy off-white head, with some nice sticky lacing left behind. The nose is hoppy, with a nice malt note added in, some nice citrus, slight pine. The taste is sweet, pretty hoppy, nice maltiness added, nice citrus/pine notes. Medium body, pretty nice bitter dry finish. Drinkable, really enjoying this brew, recommended.
acrdz (4535), Boulder, Colorado, USA
Nov 30, 2008 Bottle. Big, syrupy and sticky throughout. Sharp, biting celery and toothpaste/mint hops, along with an astringent green tea note make this double IPA somewhat unpleasant, brash, unrefined and needlessly aggressive. Passable.
