Flavor of floral, piney and grapefruit hop notes. Some of the caramel malt is there but not as heavy as it was in the nose. Drys out nicely...barely a double ipa at 7.5%

Six pack of 12oz. bottles from grocery. Dark golden pour with white foamy head. Floral/pine and some citrus. Nice pine and resins, bitterness, and a lasting finish. Very nice IPA.

Pours hazy copper in color. Has a thick head with lots of tiny bubbles. Very nice lacing on glass. Sap like, fruity smell definitely smell the hops. Sweet, malty taste at first following by very citrus,grapefruit like flavor. Slick on the tongue easy drinking Ipa. Sneaky beer, never even would have thought it was an imperial. Well balanced, appropriately named. Would definitely consume again.

Bottle thanks to 5000. Translucent copper with a big, bubbly white head of foam. Aroma is bitter citrus and tangy pine. Taste is in your face bitter, like a grapefruit pith. Medium bodied. Sticky mouthfeel.

(bottle - 12 oz - The Esquire - San Antonio, TX) Gold pour with a thin white head. Big floral hop aroma with a ton of grapefruit and citrus notes. Flavor is much the same. Juicy grapefruit and orange citrus notes with lots of fresh cut flowers and a mild peppery hop finish. Slightly dry on the aftertaste.

Overall floral bouquet with lots of hoppy notes. Pours light tan with tan head. Great hop taste with lots of resin but a weak finish and the bitterness ends too quickly. Overall decent for an ipa but a weak imperial Ipa.

On tap in Portland, OR. Golden body with slight head. Nose is caramel, malts, and gets hoppier. Taste is very hoppy, up front and strong, with nice citrus and floral notes. Bitter in the finish.

Pours a hazy amber with a white head. Pine, bitter, grassy almost medicinal aftertaste. The aftertaste made it less enjoyable for me. Not something I would get again.

Bottle - The appearance is a small off-white head that mostly diminished, transparent body with a gold hue, spotty amount of lacing, and fizzy, lively, fast rising carbonation. The aroma at first reminded me of Raid bug spray believe it or not. Then I detected malt, caramel, floral and pine hops. The taste is very bitter, malty, and citrus, pine hops. The palate is very tingly and this is a light-medium bodied beer. All-in-all this is a beer for hopheads which I am not and therefore I have no interest in drinking this beer at another time.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy fine to large sized tan colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a softly carbonated transparent dark orange colored body and a good lacing. The deep aroma was hoppy and floral. The bubbly mildly vinous mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a strong hoppy aftertaste. The balanced flavor contained notes of floral caramel and hops. A wonderful best in class brew.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a small white head that disappears. Nose has pine needles, apricot and grassy hops. Chewy syrupy bubblegum mouthfeel. Heaps of caramel maltiness and pine hops. Nice pine bitterness. Dry palate. Pretty good stuff
