Pours a hazy amber with quick head dissipation. Smells very floral, with grassy tones. Tastes very bitter with the flowers and grass coming through clearly. Lightly sweet and medium body. Overall a great beer, but quite the sipping beer!

This beer pours a deep golden colour with a small white head with large bubbles. Citrus nose and peach and a hint of caramel taste with a big bitter hit. Lovely big beer. Pity it's out if commission.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy gold. Persistent, thick white head. Aroma of grass, sugar, citrus zest. Taste is juicy, assertively bitter without being overwhelming. Orange, lemon, hints of lime. Grassy, bitter finish. Crisp, clean. Lower end of the DIPA abv range, not much booze to muddle things.

Bottle from Hazelís beverage world. Hazy amber color, white head. Bitter taste with hops, grapefruit, pine, a bit of resin and caramel. Slightly one-dimensional body dominated by hops. Bitter finish with grapefruit, hops and pine. Good imperial IPA, although somewhat unbalanced.

Subtle aroma for an ipa which may be due to age of bottle. Golden burnít orange appearance. Mellow, slightly fruity taste that is taken over by a very strong bitter aftertaste. Decent ipa that could have been better with a fresher bottle perhaps.

Carmel amber color, white head. Leafy aroma. Straight malt and extreme hop taste. Finishes with slight citrus

Taking small sips, itís pretty good. Has a citrus sweetness thats unusual for an IPA. However the finish is painful and completely ruins the flavor. Gets worse the more you drink.

Piney aroma, with some sweet malts mixed in there. Hazy orange pour with a nice head and good lacing. Itís an ok IPA, not really great.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance had a hazy orange colored body with a one finger white foamy head that dies and leaves some sticky lacing The smell had some bitter hops up front, but slowly combines with the malts to balance as it warms. The taste had a more bitter than sweet flavoring, but still good for the most part, slightly dry bitter aftertaste, definitely a very dry finish (this definitely has one of the driest finishes Iíve ever had in any DIPA). On the palate, it sat at about a medium, semi-sessionable. Carbonation seems a bit under for the style, not bad to me. Overall, definitely not the best DIPA on the market, but still worthy of eventually coming back to, not a disappointment, just not what I expected from Bridgeport.
