Seasonal: The name would suggest a hophead’s wonderland, but don’t get to excited. Poured muddy amber with an average sized head. Mild herbal hop aroma. Some toasted malts in the nose. Hint of Dawn dish soap suds in the taste. Citrus, biscut malts, and mushy hops for flavor. It seems to me they were going for a english style ale. Overall, just ok. Just don’t be fooled by the name.

Dec 23, 2007 Tapped at 2006 Fresh Hop Festival in Portland, OR--Word is, the impression of this freshly hopped brew varies from one pour to the next. The take here was a remarkably dissimilar taste with an astute and sophisticated Centennial hops texture.

sweet crystal malt aroma with citrus and floral hops,
sweet crystal and caramel malt flavor, lots of hop flavor, good blend of floral and citrus hops, lasting bitter finish, bitterness eventually catches up and dries it out, <br />

Oct 24, 2006 On tap at Bridgeport, Portland. Hazy copper with thin off white head. Lovely hop aroma, some earthiness, good fruit. Not sure what the fruit is, almost tropical and then I guess cascade style earthy hop finish. Nice

A nice tasty fresh hopped beer with a nice head and a clear dark amber color. This was a very nice easy to drink fresh hopped brew.

Dec 24, 2005 Pours a nice bright amber color. Aromas of grapefruit/pine with some roasty scents. Flavor is citrus mixed well with the sweet malt, nice hoppy taste on this one.
