Lightly hazy orange pour with a nice white head. Mango, papaya, oranges, earthy hop aroma. Flavor is hoppy and fruity. Oranges, papaya, starfruit and hops. Nice brew.

Medium-bodied and light golden in color. Citrusy on the palate with notes of orange peel and grapefruit. Hop presence is very subdued as this is almost wheaty in texture. Length shortens out a bit.

Bottle. Pours copper-orange with a nice thin white head and active carbonation. Musky hop aroma with citrus and caramel notes. Flavor is balanced with a firm bitterness and starchy malt notes. Not very big hop character but still drinkable. Very dry with a substantial mouthfeel. Lingering citrus rind bitterness.

bubbleflubber (1206) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - JUN 2, 2010
This pours orange-amber into the glass, with a foamy white head that leaves soapy lace. The nose is a mix of spices and hops, with some citrus effervescence to punctuate. The flavor is of unripened tangy citrus, dry malts, finishing with a mild lingering bitter. The mouthfeel is a bit drier than the "traditional" IPA, albeit spice/zest-conscious, and appreciated for the take on the style. Goes down well on a summer’s night, but I don’t know if I’d specifically seek it out again.

Tap from keg at home... Pours a hazed orange with big head that has strong retention leaving some beautiful lacing. Aroma is highly hoppy of course with strong notes of citrus and floral with some notes of pine. Taste is very bitter but well balanced with mild sweetness and slight metallicish taste as well. Finish is smooth for the most part with a clinging bitterness rounding out the beer.

Amber pour. Kind of fizzy. Small white head, gentle lacing. Very light, with some citrus. Very hops-forward in aroma and flavor, possibly a bit off balance. Some roasted malts, but maybe a bit short on the malt balance for me. Light bitterness on the finish. Very good beer.

Tastes a little dirty, quite earthy like rye has been added. Dries out the mouth and is not at all sweet. Or memorable.

sebletitje (4011) - Enghien, BELGIUM - MAY 9, 2010
pours amber, white head. Aroma, light malts, hoppy, hint of spices and some orange/citrus with a mild metallic nose. Flavors, bitter hops, tangy tropical fruits, and a faint malty/caramel presence.
