3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 arrogantb (899) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 3, 2010
12 oz bottle poured into a nonic glass. The head was huge, white, and had very small bubbles. The color is a very bright yellow-orange. The aroma was citrus and hops. The taste is some citrus, a little bitterness. The mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is very easy to drink. This is a great beer for a very hot day.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 hopheaven (89) - Eureka, California, USA - JAN 3, 2010
Peachy, citrusy flavor. Bready, woody, grassy, slightly tart, sweet. Solid malt backbone. Bittering not extreme. Green, floral, spicy, resionous hops. Blueberries, apples, yeast on the nose. Strong warm-fermented yeast presence contends with hops. Not hop dominant like most West Coast IPAs. Thick with a dry finish.

Decent Session IPA. Nice biscuity flavor. Some hops in the nose, but not much. Fairly easy drinker for the IPA noobie.

Pours a very pale color with a decent head and lots of tiny bubbles. The aroma is fruity and floral with a mildly stinky thing I can’t quite put my finger on. The flavor is fruity hops and a nice minerally character.
0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 StinkBall (124) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - DEC 12, 2009
Smells hoppy but also smells skunked. Might be infected from my impression of the aroma. Light orange in color with very little head that lingers but isn’t impressive. Has a malt liquor mouthfeel. Taste is not good. Could be infected? Nasty.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 larryLSB (268) - La Selva Beach, California, USA - NOV 28, 2009
Poured from 12 oz., cloudy amber-orange with smallish off white head. Nose is mild, a bit of citrus, some malt, but not a lot of hop. Taste was about the same, on the bitter side, nothing special as far as IPA’s go. something seems out of balance to me, not sure what is going on with this; drinkable, but not memorable.
