Solid, gives off a great feeling of malts and nice hoppy flavor. water feels a bit hard but the rest works.

Not great, but decent. Bitter piney and grapefruit hops dominate the flavor. Not much else to speak of. Lingering bitter finish. Taste is slightly unbalanced and fizzy to me. Light bodied. Pretty drinkable.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 nick76 (3461) - Tampa, Florida, USA - JUL 2, 2008
The aroma is kind of cheap with lager like malt and hops that are grassy and citrusy but unpleasant and not the right strength for an IPA. The appearance is pale gold with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. Overall not the best IPA but drinkable enough.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 spikester (602) - Salem, Oregon, USA - JUN 29, 2008
UPDATED: AUG 16, 2008 Have enjoyed this many times but never wrote a review for it. Pours hazy amber with a one inch cream color head, good lacings.
Aroma is floral hops.
Taste is bitter citrus piney hops with sweet malts. Actually quite subdued compared to many IPA’s available now. Makes for a good session IPA. Easy drinking, bottle conditioned beer.

On tap. Poured hazy golden color. A very different IPA compared to other west coast examples. Good malt character to balance the hops. Citrus and earthy aroma as well. Not too bitter or too anything. Very enjoyable.

A very do-able IPA that is easily accessible in most supermarkets on the West Coast. I’ve seen this many, many times while shopping so in a pinch I picked up a sixer for the weekend and it came thru in fine fashoin.
The beer pours out a golden/orange color with a bit of haze to it. A nice 2-finger cap sat atop and while enjoying the aroma I could pick up some sweet oranges, some soft floral notes with a light malt character present. Decidedly hoppy up front, with the citrus hop attack asserting itself front and center. A second salvo of floral hops also does a number and it does get balanced by a good showing of malts. What’s not to enjoy about this beer. Easy to find, easy to enjoy...good makings of a nice beer.

~Pours a light cloudy orange color with frothy white head.
~Light, sweet, hoppy aroma.
~Light citrus hop taste.
~Medium feel. Soft bitter finish.
~This is a delicious IPA. Very mild compared to others, but very enjoyable.
4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 hoplover (166) - Corpus Christi, Texas, USA - JUN 10, 2008
THis is the IPA I started out with. It’s very smooth and just the right hoppiness a good IPA should have. The aroma could be better but still this is a good, well rounded IPA. Solid for the hop head in the making.
