Draft. A milky golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet citrusy with light notes of malt. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of citrus and grapefruit, leading to a dry bitter finish.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 FlyingSwine (171) - Littleton, Colorado, USA - JUN 1, 2008
Pours a cloudy gold, with a thin white head, no lacing. Aroma is dominated by the Goldings (good), with hints of fruit. Flavor is super bitter, but fairly balanced for an IPA. This one almost tastes more like an English Bitter than your typical IPA. Palate is medium, and finishes a bit too dry for my tastes. I’m not a big fan of IPAs, but this one is pretty drinkable.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 carboloader (550) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAY 24, 2008
Pours hazy orange. Tall white head with great lacing. Fruity hoppy nose with a finish that is bitter, but certainly not over the top. Crisp and refreshing. Well-balanced and easy to drink. Maybe a little astringent. Decent, but not exceptional.

3.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 killjoy966 (503) - Washington, USA - MAY 18, 2008
I had been meaning to try this one for a while, but other brews got in the way. Solid IPA with a strong citrus aroma. Clean crisp taste. If I knew it was bottle-conditioned, I may have been a bit more careful pouring it out of the bottle.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 diabloblanco (1) - USA - MAY 14, 2008 does not count
Poured hazy orange, with a small head. Slightly sweet, citrus aroma. Nice dry, bitter taste from the hops. Some malt balance, but the hops dominate, as they should for an IPA. I really like this beer, and I’m sure to drink it again.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 voota (765) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAY 12, 2008
Hazy golden with a big fluffy white head. Massive citrussy aroma, the dry hopping is very obvious. Undertones of malt bread and vanilla. Medium body with a big bitterness, still seems to still work pretty well, the carbonation is soft and really works for the beer. Some more malt comes through the flavour, balancing the loads of citrussy hops pretty well... drier and bitterer towards the finish. Simple formula, but excellent to drink.
