Light, earthy. A bit dirty. Hoppy notes over a malty base. A bit dark. Deep malt underlying it all.

Courtesy of Martinus. Thx! 650 ml. bottle sampled @ decadent symmetry tasting. Possibly some age on this one, going by taste. Pours hazy orange with a white head. Nose is grapefruit, tangerine, bit mellowed with some caramel malts, light grass. Taste is grapefruit, very bitter herbs, slight chalk, grass, touch toffee, caramel malts,… Carb. is a bit less, still very enjoyable stuff.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a hazy bronze color with a fairly large head that fades to ample lacing. Aroma of citrus and pine with some floral notes and bit of malt sweetness. Taste of pine bit of citrus with mild malt sweetness and bit of fresh grain. Nice bitterness with a fairly dry finish and just bit of lingering hops. Medium body, crisp, smooth with a nice character and well balanced. Enjoyable beer for the style without being over hopped.

Faint aroma of yeast with fruity undertones, pours a nice hazy amber cloudy, tastes like a dream.

3.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Faint aroma but a beauty to pour with deep golden murkiness. An impressive head that while dense-looking, dissipates too quickly with no lacing. While the aroma is underwhelming, the mouth feel is pleasant and the taste is nicely balanced. The hops are sounding on key and not overpowering everything like some other beer cacophonies out there. There's nice citrus, pine and honey there, all with nice blending and balance. This beer is modest and maybe a little bashful like the nerdy but cute girl in gym class. She's not gonna give you a night you'll never forget, but she's classy and consistent—and she'll keep you warm at night after the hop-heads burn out their taste buds.

On tap at BridgePort. Hazy amber. Not much aroma at all. Taste is dry, slightly sour, grainy, with a bitter finish. Not really a fan of this one.

Nice subtle IPA-pours and looks fantastic. I prefer the Hop Czar but I like the big, knock your socks off beers. This is a super smooth beer with a lovely balance of hops and bitterness-a real session IPA...could knock a few back easily.
