Really nice solid IPA... not too big, not too small... just a nice smooth craft beer that is really well-built. I will recommend this to friends.

A beautiful amber/brown pour, with a small tan head. Aroma is mostly hops with some malts...Medium palate, slightly bitter, and very hoppy. A very good IPA.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 TheSponge (331) - Lynnwood, Washington, USA - JAN 20, 2008
The hops are perfect. Pours a beautiful amber color with a nice looking head. Flavor and aroma has some citrus notes. I’m a big fan of IPA’s and this one definitely "steps up to the plate".
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 thooper41 (465) - Oregon, USA - JAN 16, 2008
UPDATED: OCT 8, 2008 12oz bottle: pours a hazy light brown with very little head. aroma is pretty hoppy with a hint of malt. flavor is almost as hoppy as a "west coast ipa" its pretty hoppy for just a standard ipa. good beer have had many times but this is a first rating it.
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 wilkie (1209) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - JAN 16, 2008
Really old rating on crumbled, laundered receipt. Pours copper, medium head, good lacing. Aroma is certainly floral, some grapefruit and pine. Flavor is hoppy, but kind of thin malt wise. Average at best.

1st Brewery 07-08 Beer Road Trip with Bikesandbeer, 12/30/07 @ The Brewpub. Had this on Cask and on draft, the cask was slightly better. Pours orange with a bright white head. Nose of some hops. Taste is bright, piney and full of citrus hops.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Sparky (2128) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - JAN 3, 2008
On sale for $5.99 for a sixer, so why not? Overall, the beer isn’t bad, not great but not bad especially for the price. Dark yellow/orange color, decent aroma, a little hop bite but not much. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Alcohol is covered pretty well. I’d buy again at this price.

Big malt base with a wonderful hop choir ensemble - floral and somewhat piney but very smooth with a lightly sweet, orange citrus essence. A little thin and watery but very drinkable and pleasant.
