3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 IrishBoy (3265) - Bakersfield, California, USA - AUG 4, 2007
Bottle from my son-in-law, Colin; Nose of grassy hops with a little floral added; hazy light amber with a medium off-white head; flavor of piney, grassy hops with a small amount of hop bitterness, along with a lemon note; finsh is mildly bitter. Not a hopbomb, but decent!

This bottled brew from a bottle shop in the Portland airport poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a hazy softly carbonated dark orange brown colored body and thick foamy lacing. The aroma was hoppy and floral. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of hops mild brown malt mild caramel and floral. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

12 ounce bottle graciously gifted by fisherman34. Colour is light cloudy tangerine with decent head and lacing. Nose is fresh woody hops- kind of smells like Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Taste- yum!! Great refreshing citrus hops that give a real zing to the mouth. Carbonation also is quite high adding to that tangy zing. Great mouthfeel and is just plain tasty. Hops and malts are really well balanced and are in great harmony. This exceeded my expectations and would gladly have again. A great session IPA.

Bottle. A lower class IPA, not too hoppy as an IPA should, not too bitter either. A citrus to fruity aroma, the best part.

12oz. Bottle (THANKS glkaiser): Aroma is medium sweet. Smells of caramel malts, alcohol, and hits of grapefruit and pine hops. Odd for such a low ABV to be present in the nose. Poured amber in color with a small, off-white head that diminished. Cloudy. Sparkling. Lots of particles. Flavor is lightly bitter and lightly sweet. Starts off tasting of bitter hops, which are a bit piney and earthy, and then become sweet and malty with flavors of dough and caramel. Light to medium body. Thin but tingly texture. Average carbonation. Overall, too malty and not bitter enough.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Skyview (4739) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - JUL 15, 2007
On tap at the brewpub during ABA Beer Tour 07. Pours a cloudy golden pale blonde brew with a thick off-white head that slowly dissolves to a fine film. Aroma of roasted caramel malt, grapefruit and orange zest with some musty cardboard in the background. Taste is lightly carbonated, medium bodied with some grapefruit, yeast and light wheat bread flavors. Finish is slightly watery, some tartness with a hint of grapefruit aftertaste. A little light for an IPA but closer to a Pale Ale style beer.

12 oz bottle, no freshness date.
Hazy golden yellow, with thick creamy off white head.
Aroma is caramel and citrus, with some floral character in there as well.
Flavor is citrusy grapefruit, with a watery sweetness and a spicy finish
Body is a little to thin and watery for my liking.
