Bottle. Strong Hop aroma, Nice fluffy head. Nice even bitterness. Golden in color. Very clear for a bottle conditioned ale. Mor yeast sediment than the typical homebrew but all in all a good beer.

This stuff is delicious. Has a great sweet yet bitter taste to follow. One of the best beers we can get down here.

Yellow golden color out of the bottle with a foamy off white head. Fresh floral grapefruit rind nose. Grapefruit, orange juice, apricot and a little pineapple in the initial sip, with the bready malts coming out in the middle. Soft mouthfeel, maybe a little thin. Finish is dominated by the grapefruit hops. Tastey IPA. Thanks to kenb for the bottle.

Hazy gold body, small-bubbled, white head. Sweet fruit, floral aroma. Some peach, some grapefruit, but mostly floral scent. The flavor is full of hops, slightly sweet, but mostly bitterand somewhat tart in the end. Velvet mouthfeel. Dry, medium-long finish. Solid IPA, better than average.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 ilikestuff (224) - Irving, Texas, USA - NOV 7, 2006
Doesn’t have the hop bite that I like in my IPA’s, and doesn’t have a typical IPA flavor either. Hops just aren’t there like they should be. As a pale ale, this brew would get much higher ratings from me, but as an IPA, it just doesn’t have enough goping for it. Odd, but not bad, roasted aroma, very uncharacteristic of the style, agian, higher ratings would have been given if it weren’t for the style.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 mreusch (851) - Olathe, Kansas, USA - NOV 6, 2006
Bottle, pours a hazy golden/orange color with minimal white head. Hoppy fruit aroma with presence of grapefruit and other citrus; maybe just a touch of pine. Not nearly as fragrant as expected; not bad, but overall a middle of the road IPA.
