Pretty light for a Portland IPA, most amber/goldens with on more flavor.

A sweeter orangey IPA with only a modertae hop bite. Subtle complexities in flavor, very refreshing and appetizing.

This has been a long-time favorite of mine. In fact, it’s the ale that made me appreciate ales for what they can be. I have found only one ale I like better, the Islander Pale Ale from Maritime Pacific.

grapefruity, really hoppy, slightly hazy. everytime i’m in portland (which isn’t enough) i make sure to find this on tap.

UPDATED: JUL 20, 2005 Very refined version of an American IPA. In Intense hop character matched with a wonderful malt sweetness.

A great hoppy aroma, and a nice dark gold color is spoiled a bit by the slightly watery palate and actually less hop flavor than some other NW IPA’s. Still good though, and drinkable in quantity.

A high quality IPA. Nice hoppy zing with nice residual sweetness which balances it nicely.

A decent IPA that’s easy to find, Light body wit decent hop flavor,but can’t complete with northwest IPAs not strong, bitter, or spicey enough...Very easy to enjoy 6 at a time...
