does not count romeogolf (6), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Oct 1, 2008 12oz bottle, acquired from friend visiting Seattle, poured into 4oz taster glass with a one-finger, rocky, white head. Medium gold color, hazy from bottle conditioning, with carbonation on the lighter side. However, the lighter body did not make it feel as flat if the OG were higher. Has many of the characteristics of an English IPA, so the "kick me in the nuts" hopheads will be disappointed. Different, though, in that the Cascade & Chinook give it a fruity and citrus overtone uncharacteristic of the UK IPAs. I found this to be a pleasant, flavorful session IPA.
rederic (1566), montréal, Quebec, Canada Jan 7, 2009 12oz bottle, slight heazy golden hue, with a white head, with a nice floral hop leafy dandelion nose, with a juicy citrusy, lemony fruity accent, with a hint of toasted malt note in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, juicy flowery hop leafy dandelion, pine niddle infusion, with some citrus lemon peel zestiness, light malt toastiness, leading towards a lingering citrus hop bitterness finish. jedimasternick (96), Tucson, Arizona, USA Jan 2, 2009 Not a shining example of the IPA variety. Has a strong pronouced bitter taste, hard to enjoy due to stale aftertaste. Try Deschutes IPA instead. vulcanmeister (68), La Grande, Oregon, USA Dec 15, 2008 Hazey orange color. Great, offwhite head with nice lasting laceing. Large hop nose, somewhat resiny. Medium body. Fruity, crisp hop flavors with a decent malt balance. barleynhops (55), Alpharetta, Georgia, USA Dec 12, 2008 Draught: Golden in color with a medium white head. Filled with hops and light citris aroma. Full of hops taste and a great palate which evolves into a well crafted brew. BrownDogBeer (30), Portland, Oregon, USA Dec 6, 2008 12oz bottle Pour is golden, with a slight cloudeness from the yeast. has a crisp flavor with a hint of malt, howver it hasa lot of hop charecter. over all the beer is just a little off balanced.
