12oz bottle, acquired from friend visiting Seattle, poured into 4oz taster glass with a one-finger, rocky, white head. Medium gold color, hazy from bottle conditioning, with carbonation on the lighter side. However, the lighter body did not make it feel as flat if the OG were higher. Has many of the characteristics of an English IPA, so the "kick me in the nuts" hopheads will be disappointed. Different, though, in that the Cascade & Chinook give it a fruity and citrus overtone uncharacteristic of the UK IPAs. I found this to be a pleasant, flavorful session IPA.

Keg at the brewpub, downtown PDX, 09/11/14. Clear orange amber with a moderate off white covering that clears to edgeing. Nose is caramel malt, bitter hop linger, grapefruit. Taste comprises bitter orange, floral notes, grapefruit, pine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok IPA.

Pours a hazy orange amber with a foamy off white head. Citrus and pine aroma that is orange dominated. Sweet caramel malt aromas that are hugely reflected in the flavour. A very pronounced malt profile, which is different to many of the dry IPA?s that I?ve had lately. Flavour is a balance of orange marmalade, toffee and stonefruit with some lingering hop bitterness. A little sweet for my taste, but that?s my personal taste. Medium carbed and full bodied. I would have again

Poured from bottle to glass. Hazy orange hue with thick fizzy white head that settled. Suspended particles. Aroma is straw, pine, lemon, peppercorn, yeast. Mouthfeel is decent with a medium light body and crisp carbonation. Taste is dry throughout with a spicy bitterness that extends through the finish. Overall this isnít a very good representation of an IPA. It tastes faintly like a hoppy saison. Perhaps this is just an off bottle that was exposed to Brett, but itís not very good. I canít find a date on the bottle. The only printing is on the base: 315 D-2 1515. Perhaps this was a bad batch.

"Light citrus (more orange than graperuit) on the nose with some pine. Medium-light bodied. A touch malt heavy, maybe due to age. The hops are there, but donít quite pop...though the finish is more than adequately bitter. OK."

Bottle from world beers. Ours a hazy Amber color. Thin white head. Scent is malt and hops. Taste is a piney hoppy one. Good basic ipa.

From a bottle. Pours cloudy orange, tiny white head, floral aroma, smooth with a good IPA hop punch and medium lingering bitterness. I like it and was pleasantly surprised.

Bottle @ plane. Slightly hazed bright orange pour with a white head. Aromas of pine, candied orange, and grass. Quite spicy and floral. Some caramel and marmalade as well. Flavor is a touch on the sweet side. A bit of citric acidity and a sharp pine bitterness. Lots of flowers and grass. Sweet caramel, toast, and marmalade. Slight orange rind.

Aroma very light almost non-existent. Taste not unpleasant but a bit unbalanced - bitterness mixed with straw pale ael type flavour. Indeed more a British style ipa. Drinkable for sure but not a top choice.

From QC. Hazy translucent orange-amber with thick bubbly white head. Smells of hops - floral, faint fruit, a bit of generic lager-y bitterness and corn. Tastes like a very English IPA - crisp and bitter but not much to it. Would be a pretty flavourful pale ale/lager but expect more from an IPA.
