3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 vadie (232) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 14, 2013
Jaune dorée avec une mousse blanche moyenne. L’arôme d’agrumes. Le goût est amer et agrumes avec une finale sec.
2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 maxwelldeux (2357) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - JUN 11, 2013
Bottle. Pours a hazy amber color with a somewhat thick off-white head. Nose is very hoppy, though I get a faint whiff of feet when I smell it. Taste actually isn’t nearly as bitter as the nose would imply; it’s fairly light and without a huge amount of flavor. Meh.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Ibrew2or3 (5823) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - JUN 6, 2013
I’ve been avoiding rating this since so many bottle on the shelves . . . well just about everywhere store this wrong and it’s either difficult or impossible to tell how old it is until you open it. Well here’goes. 12oz bottle pours deep gold with copper hues and a bit of haze supporting a thin near white head. The modest aroma has spicy almost anise like hops mixing with some floral hops and faint malt sweetness. The taste is tame for an IPA with spicy and floral sort of seeming like noble hops that are both modestly bitter and modestly flavor. Behind the hops is a nearly clean mild sweet maltiness and almost a biscuit malt quality. Old school IPA that I do not plan to seek out again.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 madquacker (956) - Canberra ACT, AUSTRALIA - MAY 12, 2013
Biscuity malts with vegemite and earthy flavours. Some citrus and peaches and spice and lots of great things going on. Not sure I’d call it an IPA, but anyway that is a minor quibble.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 OKplus (549) - Oklahoma, USA - APR 30, 2013
A - Hazy orange brown. 1 finger head that sinks quickly.
S - Mandarin oranges are the first thing I smell. Soft pine mixed in as well. Bready pale malt.
T - Honey and lemon flavors that remind me of a cough drop. A very faint amount of citrus hops. A watered down bitterness. Infected?
M - Medium body, moderate carbonation.
This must be extremely old because this is not a great beer. The flavors are weak and watered down. Has an artificial taste to it. I’ll try it again and update the review.

Pours hazy golden orange with a big lacing head. Lemon, biscuit and a bit of caramel on the aroma. Sweet malt character fades into a crisp citrus finish. Medium carbonation. A bit of residual bitterness. A very nice, sessionable beer but not too complex or extraordinary.
