3.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Everyone should drink this beer. It is the most British IPA made in the Northwest. Malty yet lightbodied. Teriffic nose and brassy hue.
Great Firkin Beer!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours slightly hazy golden amber colour with medium white head and nice lacing. Aroma is floral with hints of grapefruit and pine. A little soapy. Thin to medium body. Taste has adequate malt backing, but doesn’t have a punchy bitterness that I had hoped for. Finish is clean.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Reviewed from notes. She pours a hazy golden color and leaves about the same colored body with a two and a half finger white foamy head that rises a bit and falls, lacing is very clingy and has a thick foaminess. The aroma has big bold hops, floral yet piney, subtle sweet maltiness tries to linger forward as it warms, but mainly combines wonderfully. The taste has a nice super smooth bittersweetness all the way through into the aftertaste, as the caramel malts combine fantastically with the bitter hops, leaves a dry finish. On the palate, this one sits about a light to medium, fairly sessionable, carbonation seems a bit under for an AIPA, but actually just makes this one better for the summer. Overall, in my opinion, this is a spectacular AIPA for the summer that I would have again.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Mild and dry, this isn’t as hoppy as a good portion of the NW IPAs. Pours a light amber with beautiful creamy head, lots of lacing. Subdued hoppy nose and taste is more hops, watery mouthfeel and short and dry finish.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
A: ruddy orange with a phase of white foam which dissipates quickly to a central cap. spotty lace.
S: some spicy hops, some catty hops, some english malts. meh.
T: Bitter and catty for me. some grapefruit and tartness. Malts are simple and biscuity.
M: Medium bodied with hi carb. semi dry finish.
O: Meh. I remember drinking a substantial amount of this, ice cold, when I first got into IPA’s. This does not serve memory accordingly.
