3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of fruits, malt, caramel, and English hops? The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, fruits, caramel, and spicy hops, leading to a bitter finish.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a medium creamy beige head that lasts awhile that leaves sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a bready malt with caramel and raisin. Thin mouthfeel with a rye malt and light hoppy finish. Hides the alcohol well, a good American strong ale from Bridgeport.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap with Jeff at Bridgeport. Pours red with off-white foam. Smells sweet. Tastes sweet with a light caramel and enough bitterness to keep me interested. Seems like a sweet ESB. Itís one of the better double reds Iíve had (not that that says much...)

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Deep garnet colored brew from the bottle with a thin light kahki head. The nose has lots of cotton candy along with some caramel. There is also a little bit of bubblegum and apples. The taste is dry apple core with old caramel. There is also some wood and glue in the finish. A little bit of plastic. Bleh.

Nicely hopped. Smooth mouth feel. medium body, average carbonation, clear, medium bitterness,. Main thing about this beer is itís hop bite. Good for a few pints, but definitely not a session beer.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Deep amber pour into thick off-white foamy head that slowly melts into sticky lacing and a pool of foam. Aroma of malted rye, caramel, and yeasty buiscut. Initial flavor of sweet caramel and citrus that slowly fades into a bitter, yet buttery hoppy finish.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Deep amber with a cream head. Nose is laffy taffy, hops, faint bitterness, and fruits. Decent palate, flavor is super sweet, definitely not triple hopped, and chewy.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
(12oz bottle thanks to mar) clear medium copper, creamy tan head. Nose of caramel, light citrus hops, laffy taffy, banana, and slightly funky. Taste of umami, sweat, salty, bitter and really pretty gross. Old dishrag and dirty water. Metallic finish, slightly creamy but the herbal bitter linger reminds me of a hot tea bag thatís been squeezed out. Not good.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours rusty red-orange with a moderate sized, creamy off-white head. Aroma of orange, caramel, perfumey hops, slight rubbing alcohol, and pine. Eh. The flavor starts seemingly malty with caramel, and toast but quickly becomes astringent with pine, orange, and medicine. The bitterness becomes a bit strange on the finish and seems even more chemical with some pine and grapefruit but mainly its about astringency, cough medicine and rubbing alcohol. Medium bodied at first, but feels lacking and thin by the time the finish comes around. How the hell did this become so weird?
