3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Red-amber with a fluffy white head. Aroma is full of grass and toffee. The flavor is similar. I get a lot of grass and toffee notes as well as some metallic notes in the aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

On tap at Bridgeport in Portland. Pours a red color with not much head. Malty flavors and some strong hop flavors.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Almost red colour, thick head. Caramel, sugar aroma. Bitter and rich, a burnt flavour but quite pleasant. Nice.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Growler fill from Plonk. Deep reddish-brown, creamy tan head, low carbonation, but suits the style. Sweetish caramel aroma hidden under piney hops, some rye aroma (and flavour) there too. Dry bitterness, quite liked this one.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
This is a really tasty brew and would get much higher marks if they hadn’t oversold it. Just take off the words "triple" and "double." I rate it pretty good as a plain ol’ hoppy red ale. The color is brilliant brass. The aroma-a little understated- is kind of perfumy fruit. The sweet/spicey malt and bitter hops are nicely balanced. Good deal @ $11.50/12 pack.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
No head and apple-cider-like appearance. As expected it is incredibly bitter as it is a triple-hopped brew. Aftertaste is tolerable, with hints of caramel and fruit. Not my favorite.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz bottle pours a clear reddish brown with very litlle head but lots of bubbles clinging to the glass. Aroma is primarily caramel and other sweet malts with some rye and alcohol present. Taste is sweet with only slight bitterness in the finish. Definitely does not taste triple-hopped to me. Body is medium with average carbonation and a sticky mouthfeel. Overall, a bit of a disappointment after reading the description on the bottle.
