I like the subtleness of this porter. The flavors are interesting. Toasted malt, some hints of smoke, and cookie dough like flavors. This isn't a beer to gulp, but a beer, to drink slowly and really think about the flavors.

Nov 1, 2008 Pours brown with a thin tan head. Smells of sweet malt, some roasty hints. Tastes of roasted malt and chocolatey with a peppery splash on the finish.

Oct 19, 2008 Draught @ Bridgeport Brewing. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma. Roasted malty chocolate flavor with some weak hints of coffee. Has a roasted malty chocolate finish.

Sep 18, 2008 Tap at their NW location... Poured black with a light brown head. Roasted malt and sugary candy aroma. Really full and foamy palate. Great coffee flavors up front and a little hops, but then dominated by malt, candy and nut flavors. Dried up towards the finish and a creamy, almond aftertaste.

Jul 30, 2008 Just had this the first time on draft and it was delicious! They should refer to this as Bridgeport Chocolate Porter since the Chocolate aspects were most ample.
