Commercial Description:
a dark, rich, indulgent brew. It owes its taste to select Goldings and Magnums hops. This generous blend is then naturally conditioned in the bottle or keg an additional three weeks to create a roasted flavor.

I like the subtleness of this porter. The flavors are interesting. Toasted malt, some hints of smoke, and cookie dough like flavors. This isn't a beer to gulp, but a beer, to drink slowly and really think about the flavors.

Pours brown with a thin tan head. Smells of sweet malt, some roasty hints. Tastes of roasted malt and chocolatey with a peppery splash on the finish.

Draught @ Bridgeport Brewing. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma. Roasted malty chocolate flavor with some weak hints of coffee. Has a roasted malty chocolate finish.

Tap at their NW location... Poured black with a light brown head. Roasted malt and sugary candy aroma. Really full and foamy palate. Great coffee flavors up front and a little hops, but then dominated by malt, candy and nut flavors. Dried up towards the finish and a creamy, almond aftertaste.

Black with faint ruby highlights and thin tan head. Burnt coffee/toffee aroma. Roasty, burnt flavor. Slightly creamy and dry but not astringent. More burnt and roasy for my tastes but that’s the life of a porter

Just had this the first time on draft and it was delicious! They should refer to this as Bridgeport Chocolate Porter since the Chocolate aspects were most ample.
