Run of the mill amber. Slightly sweet in the malt with a little balance in the hop department for an easy drinking beer for people not geeked the F out on beer.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 ads135 (1572) - Lawrence, Kansas, USA - DEC 9, 2012
This is a pretty run-of-the-mill amber, maybe a bit of average. This was also one of the first beers I’d tried from Bridgeport. I picked it up in Taos, NM. Light reddish brown, okay head, with a light roasted aroma, some grassy hops and a caramel base.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 reebtogi (3266) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 20, 2012
355ml bottle sampled while on vacation in Oregon poured a pale amber color with a small white head that left very little lacing. Aroma is of caramel and mild citrus hops. Taste is caramel malty sweetnes with a soft citrusy hop bitterness. Light to medium body and light carbonation. Just an average amber ale at best.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 adnielsen (6206) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAY 3, 2011
Bottle @ home. Pours a copper/amber appearance with a light orange cream colored head. Sweet caramel, bread malty nose. Somewhat bitter, sweet caramel malty flavor that’s bready and somewhat grainy. Not all that tasty of beer.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 nuplastikk (3286) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 20, 2010
12oz bottle. Murky, dulled burgundy-red. Thin, oily head. Sweet aroma with some hoppy bitterness. Pretty insipid, especially for Bridgeport. Watery medium body. Really strikes me as a cost cutting beer, not very interesting at all, really lacks character. Malt centered, boring beer.
1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 Nikiel (790) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 6, 2010
A very thin sweet amber colored ale. Slightly hopped, and seemingly under fermented, it leaves much to be desired with its vaguely tin flavored sweetness.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 humulushound (242) - British Columbia, CANADA - APR 24, 2010
Deep amber color, off-white head. Aroma is light fruity hops, caramel and bread, all subdued. Taste has a little more intense caramel malt character, very little bitterness, fruity esters. Body is fairly thin with a sweet finish. Mediocre overall.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Dogbrick (6048) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - FEB 10, 2010
Sample at the brewpub. Pours clear amber with a thin and creamy white head that evaporates quickly. Slippery sheet of lacing. Aroma of sweet malt and fruit. Light and clean body with flavors of sweet caramel, malt and fruit. Weak hops in the background. The finish is sweet with a short malt aftertaste. Slightly below average overall.
