3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 5000 (3998) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - NOV 25, 2011
Bottle:   Hazy amber, orange hued, very small reddish highlight, moderate frothy white head, spotty lacing.
Pale wheat malt nose, slight oak and sour cherries.   Smells a bit better than the last one.   Has a
slight sour cherry aspect on the tongue, coupled with pie crust and soft oak notes.   A little tart, some
sweetness, decent balance.   Not anything near a New Glarus beer, but for what it is its fairly tasty.   Body
and mouthfeel are moderate.   This isnt a heavy or filling beer, by no means.   Lingering tart cherry, a
little tart and sour.   Comes across as a little artificial, but not overly fake.   Decent enough.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Dickinsonbeer (5075) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - DEC 27, 2010
Bomber at GABF 2010. Pours a hazed orange slight reddish hints, fizzy head. Aroma is sour cherry, red fruity juicy cherry with pits, tannic skins over a cereal pilsner backbone, light dms. Flavor is more cherry, fruity sweetness, toast, biscuit, husky grain, crackers, cherry pit mineral- then chalky and pez like fruity mineral in the end. Not as good as I had hoped.
2.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20 dirt55 (198) - Washington, USA - JUN 3, 2010
Bottled, light golden red hued pour with thin white head, horrible aroma of perms...yes perms, yuck. Slight raspberry tart flavor up front with some light roaste malt followed by very suttle grassy hops without noticeable bitterness. Medium carb with light body. Tastes MUCH better then it smells.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Ratman197 (5524) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - MAY 10, 2010
Bomber pored a clear orange amber with a lingering ring of amber foam. Aromas of cherry, straw and light bread. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry lightly tart finish. Flavors of cherry, bread, wheat, light straw and a hint of spice with a crisp dry lightly tart cherry finish.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 SamGamgee (2451) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - MAY 4, 2010
22oz bottle. Clear gold-orange with a medium white head. Oaky aroma with a little sourness and cherry skin and a touch of alcohol and green apple. The flavor is dry and oaky with prominent alcohol and a touch of sharp tartness that sticks out a little painfully. Weird funky cider-like flavors as well. Thin and fizzy. Weird flavors on the whole, and no cohesiveness.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 iowaherkeye (2428) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 25, 2010
22oz bomber, no date from Bottle Barn. Clear amber golden with a one finger fizzy off-white head, soda like minimal retention. Cereal malts and alcohol are quite present up front with moderate dark cherries and cherry skins. The base beer is a tripel? Hmmm--I’m not finding it here. Flavor doesn’t have anything Belgian about it--just more alcoholic cereal grain and cherries. The cherries are a little bit more pleasant in the flavor. Can only pick out the oak because I’m told it’s there--if ihadn’t known, I doubt I’d be able to find it. Bitterness peaked at a 2 in the lightly sweet finish. Light to moderate fizzy carbonation with a medium body. I didn’t really like this, but it was only like five or six bucks, which is forgiveable. I appreciate that they tried, I just don’t think this is a tripel with cherries aged in wine barrels.

Aroma is light moderate malty, wheat, caramel notes, moderate yeasty, tart berry - fruity, cherry notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light acidic with a average to long duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20091229]

A Mes rate. Bottle at Chris O’s Night of the Gaylords. Murky amber with a thin white head. A very tasty and spicy IPA like thing with lots of cinnamon and lemon plus plenty of oak and obvious cherries. Really different and interesting. Nice one.
