Bottle:   Hazy amber, a little dirty, moderate frothy off-white head, spotty lacing, lively carbonation.
Fairly strong Mamba Strawberry candy like aroma on the nose.   Yeah, sure smells like Strawberry candy, well
its not too strong but its there.   Tastes a little wheaty, with lots of artificial Strawberry flavor.
Pretty much comes across as advertised.   Feels pretty smooth, its actually got a decent body to it.   Nothing
special, but for an American fruity type beer, its not half bad.   Nothing like New Glarus, but who is?
Bottle claims that its tart... I disagree.

7/28/11@ pap. Stumptown tart.
Orange w/ a small white head.
A faint ripe strawberries...stewed, grain, caramel-y sweetness, green grassy herby things, wet earth.
F sweeter than the name indicates. Stem-y at, cooked berries, odd sweetness.
Mf is weird, slick. 5.5/3/5.5/3/12

Poured vibrant gold with a pink tint and a large fluffy white head. Tastes and smells like Strawberry Shasta with yeast thrown in. Not as appalling as it might sound, but still by no means a good beer.

Golden in color, clear with a thick head. Nice tart aroma with a light malt backing. The flavor was rich and full of berries and sweetness. This was a excellent rendition of a fruit beer.

22 oz. bottle shared by dbsdelight- thanks, Dan, and I don’t know where you find some of this stuff. Pours a cloudy orange-gold color with a small white ring for a head and some film. Aroma of pale malts, grass, grains, strawberries, and minerals. Flavor of sweet strawberries, sweet malts, wheat, straw, and grass. The strawberries were just a bit more tart in the nose and sweeter in the flavor. Light-bodied, with a sweet mouthfeel that becomes more mineral and medium carbonation. Strawberry beers generally don’t work for me all that well. This one is okay but didn’t do much to change my mind.

(22oz bottle, courtesy of blutt59) Pours a clear golden body with a spare white head. Aroma of strawberry, caramel, and candy. Flavor of strawberry, artificial sweetener, and light bread.

650 ml. bottle. Pours a medium, off white head, over a hazy light amber (SRM 6) body....nose is very light fruit, cereal.....taste is cereal, light malts, smidgen of strawberry, finishing with a tart bitterness.....mouth feel medium, alcohol hidden, carbonation adds a tingling spritz. This is a strange brew. The fruit was used with a light hand and is almost totally hidden, but surfaces in odd ways. Yet for all of that it does not taste bad, and could almost pass as a Saison. 22 ounce bottle - $5.99 at Total Wine & More in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a clear, light copper body with a brief, smallish, off-white head.
Smell: Lightly scented barley, lightly scented sharp alcohol traces, then, some juicy strawberry notes.
Taste: Golden malted barley with a light sweetness and hint of sans-crust white loaf (like Iron Kids) bread. Strawberries, faintly tart, making up the bulk of the flavor beyond what would otherwise be a pretty lusterless, yet oddly boozy blonde ale. Hops don’t contribute much of anything here. Tart, slightly boozy, fruity finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation, though a bit spritzy on the tongue.
Overall: Unnecessarily high ABV here. They refer to it as being "refreshing," but at nearly 8-percent, it’s, well, not at all for a fruit beer. I’d sooner go for the Samuel Smith strawberry fruit ale. Past years’ renditions have been equally high (or higher) in alcohol, which makes me wonder why they want it to be so blotto-fying.
