3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz single bought from Fred Meyer in North Salem.
Nice golden coloured ale with an inch thick off white head. Handsome.
WEll hopped aroma the crystal hops are not my absolute favourite but this is fine enough.
Taste is also nice with good lemon hints..tastes very fresh. Malts are there but in the back.
Simple but nice.
Good palate properly carbonated and very likable
A nice simple APA..would do great in June.
I think this is a return to form by Bridgeport...look forward to more in the series.

@ Bridgeport brewpub 16-3-10: småhumlig och små toner av kryddor. Ganska lätt och lagom med toner av klor.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the Brewpub. A bit hazy golden with a white head. Fresh with hops, apricot and light malt. Kind of easy to drink.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This one was called "Conviction Pale Ale" at the BridgePort brewery. Golden body topped by a thin, stretched-out head. Light, catty aroma. Medium-bodied mouthfeel with catty hops throughout. A bit parching. Quite monotone.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A pretty solid IPA, though its a bit weak in the mouthfeel and aftertaste. The hops up front are crisp and sweet.

3.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
From a 12 oz bottle...different label and name: Conviction Pale Ale Trilogy 1. Pours semi cloudy gold with head and lace in a North Coast chalice. Aroma of mango juice and grains. Significant carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of straw hops, grains, light malts, bitter herbs, hay. Overall some bold flavors of bitter hops and seemingly herbs that’s decent. Amazing mango hop aroma.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Piney hop aroma. Deep yellow color, white head. Slightly sweetness up front. Very citrusy. Lemon, orange and some piney hops. Bitterness is sharp at first then fades. Slightly watery mouth feel. Meh.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a lightly hazy orange-gold, big head of foam(served near room temp), nice sticky lacing.
Very aromatic, lots of citrus fruits in the nose that hint at a certain level of bitterness but some kind of sweet note or 2 also peeks through.
The citrus is there for sure in the taste. I get oranges and lemon peel with grapefruit playing a lesser role. The malt comes across as semi sweet with more of a bready character. Pretty good balance here.
Medium bodied with lightish carbonation...nice mouthfeel.
a darn good APA here from Oregon’s oldest craft brewery.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a deep gold with a high, white, fine-grained, lacy, sticky head. Nose is citrus, sage, rosemary, funk, and lavender. Some tangerine sweetness up front, then strong herbal bitterness kicking in; holds together quite nicely with an elegant balance. The mouthfeel is very rich and soft, but still has sufficient crispness to keep it sharp. The finish echoes the sweetness and bitterness in equal parts. I’m impressed.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy orange color. Very little head, no lacing. Aroma is caramel malt with some pine notes. Flavor is very hoppy, with a slight amount of caramel malt and toffee notes. Palate is a bit thinner than I expected, which makes it very drinkable. Overall a decent pale ale.
