12oz bottle. Surprisingly amber pour with a thin ring of white cream around the edges of the glass. Aroma is caramel/toffee sweetness and floral hops. The caramel flavors are lightly toasted and a little nutty. The hops create a dry, clean finish. A very nice fall/harvest ale.

Slightly hazy copperish orange with a thin rocky head. The nose has a lot of sweet malty nutmeg and cinnamon with a sweet semi-caramel earthy malt. Basically smells like a pumpkin ale, sans-pumpkin. The taste is initially dry and spicy with a dry earthy malt character that includes a bunch of nutmeg and a bit of cinnamon. Has a sorta sour twang.

Appearance is a hazy brown supporting a thin dissipating head leaving. Smell and taste has the pumpkin spice, but dont know if there is any real pumpkin in there with a good dose of hops. Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. Seems to be more like a spice harvest IPA.

12 oz bottle. Aroma consists of nutmeg and cinnamon, as described, but its fairly muted compared to most spiced beers. Pours hazy amber with a one finger beige head with decent retention. Taste has all the spicy character youd expect, but this is much more bitter than other similar beers. Creamy mouthfeel, medium body. Im liking the bitterness in this. Different than your average pumpkin spice beer.

Bottle. Pours a clear red with big, pillowy khaki head. Decent retention and thin, stringy lace. Aroma is dominated by spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, very sweet. Flavor is sweet, strong cinnamon and nutmeg, with a sweet nutmeg finish a bitter aftertaste. Hops are purely bitter, no aroma or flavor. Soft carbonation, medium body, and syrupy texture. A light, heavily spice beer.

On tap at Lunar Brewing Co., and dispensed to a shaker showing a clear, mahogany color, with a decent layer of cakey/moussy, off white head foam, and fairly lasting cling to the lacing. The aroma was very light, with some maltiness, and a subtle scent of dark fruit/prune, but no spice. Briefly introduced to some spice as cinnamon at the beginning of the taste, but a strong, almost abrasive, earthy, and very lingering hop bitterness squelched any enjoyment of those notes. Quite malty, medium bodied, and suitably carbonated. Nice idea, but out of balance, highly hopped, and tough to finish. Might try it down the road to see if it has mellowed, or maybe try the bottled version.

Tap at FW Gman. Can't tell the appearance because it was poured into a jet black pint glass. Aroma has a bit of spice and yam. Flavor is dry, slight spice, leaves and malt. Finishes dry. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A nice fall seasonal. Not pumpkin or yam or any other harvest fruit, but plenty of spices accent this malty beer.
