UPDATED: JUN 18, 2014 Serving: from bottle--purchased at Costco. Aroma: moderately sweet, caramel malt. Appearance: average-sized, off-white initial head with fair lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Clear, dark-orange body. Taste: lightly sour, citrusy initial flavor and lightly bitter finish with average duration. Palate: medium body, oily texture and soft carbonation. Overall: very good. Easy to drink.

Aromas of sweet malts combine with cinnamon and nutmeg and precede cranberry hued pour which provides short lived off-white head and moderate lacing. The taste is subdued. Cinnamon, nutmeg, and a hoppy bitterness prevail. Medium body and sharp carbonation. Overall, I would have like to see the spice aspect of this beer amped up. Sadly, the sharp hop bitterness was the dominate taste.

Seems like a rather robust Carmel malt and hoppy amber/red ale base, with cinnamon and nutmeg present but not overpowering. Really like the balance here. Well done."

It’s okay - a little too "aley"; spice flavors are present but not overly strong.

Pours from 12oz bottle a copper color with a light tan head. Aroma gigner and nutmeg. Taste malt, cinnamon, ginger...kind of like a gingersnap.Light bodied. Finish of grassy hops, spice, and some earthiness...maybe pumpkin pie.

I actually thought this beer was terrible. Pours an amber color with off-white head. No spice on the nose to speak of, just burn malt. On the palate it was more of the same. The finish was dirty. It just never sat right with my palate.

It poured a copper color with a white head. The aroma was of caramel, nutmeg, cinnamon and some other spices. The taste was similar with a slight hoppiness on the back end. The mouthfeel was medium with light carbonation. Very nice.

Bottle @ home, picked up at RJs Fort Collins. Pours a hazy dark orange appearance with a thin brown head. Spicy cinnamon, vanilla, caramel, sweet aroma. Banana, nutmeg, cinnamon, gingerbread/caramel flavor. Not good.
